All the Resident Evil movies are garbage, but fun to watch with friends. There is an animated one as well, though I can't remember the name. Its also crap.
Two actually, CGI. Degeneration and Executor 4D (half hour short story). Degeneration has it's share of problems, but hardly crap.

I found a list more akin to my taste: http://totalscifionline.com/features/3809-...t-sci-fi-movies

Didn't know that they had made a Stalker movie based on the books

I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"*

Umm there is quite a bit of nudity which serves no visible purpose in the plot.

Boo hates boobs.

On the contrary, I just can't find a purpose for animated ones.

@Orogun1: dude, those are filtered IMDB power search results, not a list of any sort. Its only purpose is for reference. I use it to see which highly (user) rated titles slipped under my radar, nothing more.

Seen that one and its one of the better ones around. Still too much commercial stuff for my taste

Stalker is one a handful of films that I rated 10 on my IMDB list. If you haven't watched it I suggest you run and get your copy.

It has nothing to do with the book, except for borrowing a few names and concepts. Its also far superior to it.

Since it was made by the director of the original Solaris, Tarkovsky its a slow and philosophical movie.

Like he said to an objection from communist officials that the film "was too slow and dull in the beginning" - "The film is slow and dull so that all who walked in the wrong theater have time to leave".

Apart from that its exceptionally beautiful and everything that's any good in the Stalker games is taken from it, though its not horror and there's no shooting or mutants.

TRANSFORMERS is a must !

Welcome to the forums! :)

Now onto business: Michael Bay sucks.

He makes special effects not movies, and my nipples they hurt when I twist them.

On another note: Slither was a very entertaining sci-fi/horror flick.

I really liked slither. Although now I think about it that had some awesome gratuitous boobage.

Same deal with Silent Hill -_-
SH was an almost 1:1 adaptation, or so I heard.

it was good for a game-movie adaption

there were a few things here and there that just made no sense though

ie Pyramid Head

Oh I agree, I was just stating a fact. Or "fact".
