ginji
Ok, this is just my personal curiosity I'm talking about both PC and Xbox 360 versions. Will this game run on 4:3 aspect ratio without the black bars up and down the screen? I think on PC it surely will, but what about the 360? WorstUsernameEver
I wouldn't hold my breath for it.. I haven't seen a game that runs in 4:3 for consoles in ages, but hey, I mostly play on PC.

Actually, lots of games still run on 4:3 (even if the number is decreasing with time). The first ones I see here are Halo 3, GTA IV, Far Cry 2, and more recently Dirt 2, Blur (Bizarre's racing game), hopefully Red Dead Redemption and almost all sports games (not that I like sports games). I would buy the game anyway, of course. Sadly I'm used to play RPGs with black bars up and down the screen. It's just, really, a curiosity
WILL THE ALMIGHTY
What's 4:3? "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? Pidesco
How old are you, 3? Have you never seen a CRT TV? Or a CRT computer monitor? OR every single TV show until a few years back? Or movies before TVs showed up? Zoraptor
There's such a thing as not widescreen? Without something other than widescreen, what would widescreen be wider than? [/socrates]
Tigranes
If a widescreen is as wide as a screen can be wide, how wide could a widescreen be? Trustin
ITT: Jokes that were completely missed.... and taken as seriousness... On Topic: I dunno... I wish more companies would let the games run in 4:3 but who knows...
ginji
There's such a thing as not widescreen? How old are you, 3? Have you never seen a CRT TV? Or a CRT computer monitor? OR every single TV show until a few years back? Or movies before TVs showed up? Long long ago, in a land far far away.... Anyway I don't understand why software houses are starting to ignore 4:3 aspect ratio... i still can see 4:3 TVs and monitors being sold here, and to optimize a game to run without black bars shouldn't be so difficult. I mean, just zoom in and move the HUD a little! 10 minutes of work, maybe. Now that i think about it, Dragon Age Origins runs in 4:3 without black bars on both PC and Xbox 360, and it came out just 4 or 5 months ago. WILL THE ALMIGHTY
Terrible jokes aside, I thought all games worked in 4:3? Hell, I remember some games not working on widescreen correctly but working fine in 4:3? Is this a console thing? "Alright, I've been thinking. Zoraptor
FEAR 2 had no 4:3 support on either console or PC. True story.
