I love thisa rgument. With thatab rgument, if Isreal can keep control of the land for, say, 1000 years, you are then suggesting that the palestinians will no longer have a legit claim and they then should shut up. What a weak argument.

Soemthing doesn't become 'right' simply due to the passage of time. If taht were the case, both the Kanadian and Amerikan governemtns should destroy treaties with the Native populations because it was so a few centuries ago. LMAO

Thats generally how it works. Squatters rights, statute of limitations, etc. Doesn't make it right, just accepted. Also, Jews conquered the land from the Canaanites and such, so under your logic and mine its not their land.

 

The population numbers are vastly different now, the jews are the vast majority now with mass migration of European jews and such so the point is moot, but the Palestinians still got screwed.

If you could provide something to back up your views other than "you're wrong because I say so," it'd be more convincing. Not that LoF argues flawlessly, either, but you're really not making a strong point.

See, I have already done that in countless other threads -- he simply repeats himself time and time again, hoping the opposition will go away. Analysing and defeating his rhetoric in detail is a pretty sterile effort, even when there is something to analyse and it's not just tripe along the lines of "democracy is only good when you can only vote for the CPSU". Use the search function, if you don't believe me.

You must enjoy fictitious arguments, because I've never argued that "democracy is only good when you can only vote for the CPSU".

 

 

I believe you DID say that all non-communist parties were reactionary. Moreover it cannot be enough to simply SAY you are communist. No doubt there will be committees of shiny-faced apparatchiks who will determine whether parties are true communists or not. I'm sure that won't cause any problems for free speech or democracy.
