October 28, 200916 yr Amazon edit: Oh....download service... Direct2Drive? Edited October 28, 200916 yr by Syraxis
October 28, 200916 yr For a second there I thought you were asking about in-game gold and not the package. Anyways, I think that Direct2Drive is the only digital retailer that has NWN2 - although I would recommend the disc version (especially now that the disc-check has been removed). "Geez. It's like we lost some sort of bet and ended up saddled with a bunch of terrible new posters on this forum." -Hurlshot
October 28, 200916 yr Author What about atari store? Is it still D2D? I have a very long night of not doing anything at work ahead of me, so I need some relatively instant gratification.

October 28, 200916 yr They charged me $4 to keep a backup online for 2 years Does it automatically install or can you find a means to back it up to a physical medium? Edited October 28, 200916 yr by Syraxis
October 28, 200916 yr Author It can be backed up. I still like the option of having an online backup.
October 28, 200916 yr It can be backed up. I still like the option of having an online backup. Ah. Well hope the PC you're playing on is decent, NWN2's engine is poorly optimized.
October 28, 200916 yr Author it's my work machine, 2.4 core 2 quad, 3 GB, Radeon 2400(might switch it for geforce 8600 that's laying around here) I have a feeling it will suck
October 28, 200916 yr it's my work machine, 2.4 core 2 quad, 3 GB, Radeon 2400(might switch it for geforce 8600 that's laying around here) That's good enough, the engine doesn't support multi-core processors (IIRC) but you should have no problems running the game at near all high settings (Anti-aliasing might need to be kept at 2x but no noticeable difference.)
October 28, 200916 yr Author Just found an ati 3650 in one of the unused machine. Ninja grfx card swap tyme!!!
October 28, 200916 yr Don't forget to patch the game. It only takes an hour or so. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

October 28, 200916 yr Don't forget to patch the game. It only takes an hour or so. It takes longer than an hour. A lot longer. More like a smegging day.
October 28, 200916 yr Author you weren't kidding. Well here's to hoping it will launch when the patching is done.
October 29, 200916 yr Author Well, I was gonna ask, is OC even worth it? Edited October 29, 200916 yr by vault_overseer
