Sounds like a trustworthy place...

You, my friend, are clearly a very wise person. Such is the clarity of your insight, I do believe your basis of trust would be well placed in my proposal. I am Nigerian royalty, and I need you to send me money. Unfortunately, my funds became trapped during the last military regime here in Nigeria, but all that is required is your bank account number I can enlist the help of my Nigerian relatives in clearing up this misunderstanding. Don't worry, you can trust us (we are ROYALTY), and we live in trustworthy place (NIGERIA), so the quicker you wire the funds, the quicker I can see to giving your one of my wonderful non-war-torn Nigerian palaces.

And you are the snarkiest SOB this side of the codex.

What made you leave the godforsaken KotOR II boards anyway? Do you crawl out of that cave every solstice to prey upon the other boards only to return there once you have annoyed everyone sufficiently?

Yeah, pretty much. Those prey aren't going to annoy themselves you know. Besides, I've been needing a new cave of operations every since Volourn's boom-boom got infected with VD.

It's JAGS!!!!!

Out from jail now

Obviously digital downloads may not be the best option right now, but it's not impossible for it to become so..

The most immediate pro is that you can always download the game, while if your cd/dvd breaks you have to buy a new one, the con being that the servers and companies from whom you get your DDs can go bankrupt as well.

Now this could be circumvented by having a failsafe, like free public run P2P'ish download service available.. In essence making what is today classified as piracy legal if you bought the game you are downloading. That way you would extent the life of the game considerable, until no-one had it on their hard-drive and no-one shared it. Companies could also provide a version which could be burned to a DVD and then saved and used for later times, thus giving you a further fail-safe..

That would be the ideal future of DD imo.

If that would be future of DD, i would not say a single bad word on this kind of distribution. TBH i would be missing the nice boxes and manuals (not every company puts no effort into this kind of things, especialy when you buy Collectors Edition), but with this kind of freedom available to me, as a paying customer, i can say i would be pretty much very happy customer...

I bought it about 4 years ago, i have absolutely no clue... Do you remeber every present you ever gave to your family? All what i remember atm is that i even had to uninstall NOD32 so it would start...

Actually yes.

Especially when it's something that was particularly memorable, (positively or negatively).

Yes you are kinda right, but sometimes you come accorss things you would like to forget about, and sometimes you are lucky and the memory is gone aswell

I don't like forgetting.

Which is probably why I have a good memory haha.

It's not photographic by any means, in that I'll only remember something if I deem it memorable, but I do have an uncanny knack for remembering a lot of small details.
