May 28, 200916 yr yeah, you don't get experience unless you start the fight. of course, you don't get picked on by others unless you're known to lose a lot, and apparently JIXX fits that bill. occasionally my brute will have a string of challenges, though the history is typically in my favor at least 4-3. JIXX has weak stats, no skillz, only 1 pet, and only 2 weapons. that would explain the 7 losses in a row JIXX has from recent challengers. i'm gonna beat up on her tomorrow! digging around i found out that my hammer-looking thing is actually considered an axe. it managed to take poor korqeldroma down in one whack recently. taks comrade taks... just because.
May 28, 200916 yr I see. Didn't really notice, thanks for clearing that up. That pet thing, is it gained like abilities at level up? I saw a tournament fight where this guy had a bear and 2 wolves, or rabid racoons, or something. I'm still stuck with clubs and fans
May 28, 200916 yr That pet thing, is it gained like abilities at level up? yes. i've been lucky so far: 3 weapons, 2 pets (both wolves), and 3 skillz, plus my stats started out pretty high to begin with. of course, i have no pupils so it is getting to the point that it's not worthwhile to keep playing (to go from 10 to 11 takes 49 exp, or a minimum of 9 days). the only real way to go up at this point is through pupils, and you have to sort of cheat to get a lot. level table here. taks comrade taks... just because.

June 1, 200916 yr Made level nine today and got a new weapon in the form of a busted tennis raquet. Not sure how good it is as my brute hasnt bothered using it yet.
June 1, 200916 yr ^kor: already gone from the list. can't watch it. i didn't check the web once this weekend (playing pool all day saturday, dying on the couch all day sunday) so i didn't notice till this morning. ^Majek: yeah, we're really bored i guess, and rather boring otherwise as i've noted in the what you did today thread. there are only a few of us that care and for no real reason other than boredom i think. i had a 3fer again today. chose JIXX as my first match, though i won't be able to do that much longer (i'm nearly level 11). there's a list of the easy to beat brutes for each level at the brute wiki. i don't recall there being any at level 10 or 11, though 8 and 9 did have some. taks comrade taks... just because.
