Me too, though I'm not that sure about that "coming up" part anymore (at least not soon).

I took it from a devs Portfolio. It was hide in the webserver actually so shhhhhhhh

Exactly. A very early one (it's from 16 march 2008), also someone in other forum said He see some kind of WY logo near the lamps, at least black logo like a W.

Don't be getting all antsy just yet. The project can still be on hold. Not everybody can wait for it to get off the ground again.

Those shots aren't taken from the engine, but from ZBrush/Max I suppose.

Well, we know at least from these that the PC can (could?) be a marine or an "agent" (a WY agent, it would seem) and that a ship crash is involved somehow with the story.

All I care is that Aliens get picked up again/released ASAP.

It's prottected by password by some reason. They doesn't want to leak nothing because the game is not canned.

 

And about the Former lead artist; the pic and the texture I posted were from a guy that WORKED in the game a year ago too. But there are still people working on Aliens Rpg so It doesn't mean anything about ppl leaving the project. It's just because they finished their work for the game and just leave I supposse.

PLEASE OBSIDIAN, let there still be an playable asian female charakter!!!!

 

These pictures look awesome, though they're just icons.

I suspect there will be a choice to play female characters. Based on the files names of the character portrait, its listed as 'Player character Asian Female Agent' and 'Player character Asian Male Agent' followed with series of armor upgrade looks for both male and female counter parts.

 

So its definitely some sort of character creation involved similar to KOTOR rather than Mass Effect in where you could choose names and face models instead of self-customise.
