February 24, 200916 yr It kindof grows on you though. The more I watch it, the more I like it. Same for the rest of the game. I'm no longer waiting for it to actually scare me, so I guess that helps. I'm no longer waiting for it to actually scare me, so I guess that helps. Yeah, on the second play through I actually found myself getting scared a bit more, because I knew what to look for. Also I lowered my "scare" expectations from the originals which makes it a better game. They still should have had child Alma show up to kill your squad mates etc rather than that weird tentacle thing. Also I think that Alma decides that she's gonna carry your kid when she grabs you and holds you over her head in the school (it's also the first time you see her "teenage" body that's not dessicated and missing eyes). Sometimes she looks more like a zombie than anything. :/ I don't know, the body starts to devour itself when left without proper nutrition. I'd guess that her eyes were something that were taken first. Or on a more freaky note, maybe she ripped them out herself so she wouldn't have to see her nightmares. February 26, 200916 yr Everyone who is confused with the history and the story of FEAR 1 should visit the official site. There you can read the history of Alma, what happened in the first game, character infos etc. Maybe it helps you to understand the storyline. I think my first reaction to FEAR 2 ending was "wtf just happened?" but i kinda liked it for some reason.
