Id like to pick your brain. Exactly how fast is your fiber optic speed? Did you have to pay extra for installation of the fiber optics into your house (IE: running the wiring through your walls)? Whats the monthly rate?

Since others may have questions, I re-edited this post. I have the slowest FiOS you get obtain, but it is insanely faster than DSL.

4) They do not rewire the house. All they do is readjust the tv-cable wire so it is compatible for FiOS.

Usually you only get the offer if you are already on the planned dig route for the wiring. I'm writing for the benefit of people living in houses, big cities almost always have fiber. If you don't live in Uganda that is. Installation costs are included in the subscription.
