Man that Tim Curry sure does suck.

I don't really have a problem with the male cast (except Tim Curry as he sucks) except that important men are apparently older than the solar system.

Tim Curry? More like Tim Sucky!

I thought it was the other way around, the females are fairly horrible, the old guys acceptable. Except that godawful Tim Curry.

Red Alert 1 was wacky and great, but the wackiness of Red Alert 2 was a bit too much for me. We will see about Red Alert 3, but my fond memories of Red Alert 1 give me hope regarding this title. :p

Well let me kill all hope for you, as I said in the previous page about the difference between RA games:

There's a huge difference between stuff like tesla coils, cronoshift on one hand, and parachuting bears on the other that will be standard units in RA3! Yes you read it right, motherfu*king parachuting bears!!! And not just any bears but circus bears! I mean there are far enough Hollywood random based bullsh*t spawned games out there...but I feel horrified that EA had to ruin such a great series like they started to do with RA2, now they're going to finish it with RA3.

God bless Westwood when it was alive and independent ermm.gif

Well, to be honest, Westwood's Yuri's Revenge was a celebration of all things wacky and explosive in 50's horror and science fiction. Getting to parachute bears and command psychic schoolgirls doesn't even come close mad scientist having a death ray in a moon base or atomic tanks killing dinosaurs in a prehistoric San Francisco.

Not to mention, the bullfrog apc unit launches every unit with a parachute included, the bears are not dropped from a plane or use the parachutes themselves. I doubt anyone will even use the apc for bears when there are very decent tesla troopers available. And those dropping into a base over defenses is anything but ridiculous.

I'm hoping for an Allied unit, mind controlled pigeons who sh*t to death enemy units.

EA retards

spoilsport

How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them.

No RA3 can beat RA1, "Hell March", that fictional cold war atmosphere, best RTS for me ever :)

I have zero hope for this game.

I miss Red Alert 2 :)

RA2 + RA2: Yuri's Revenge > RA1

Hopefully: RA3 > RA2 + RA2: Yuri's Revenge > RA1

Propably: RA3 + RA2 + RA2: Yuri's Revenge > RA1

In bad case of EA screwup (see: C&C3): RA2 + RA2: Yuri's Revenge > RA1 > RA3

RA1>all C&C games under EA

:)

lol no

RA1 is good but RA2 has better campaigns, better multiplayer, better gameplay (well, in C&C game this is somewhat funny notion. Let's say more diverse and dynamic), and ****ing awesome camp attitude compared to too-serious RA1

I agree with Xard, Red Alert 2 is easily the best C&C game. Unless I've missed a masterpiece by not playing Sole Survivor.

RA2 had better campaigns??? Hmmm....no!

Again, RA1 for me had excellent films to go along with the campaign, good actors, the whole thing suited the game, while films in RA2 where like second rate porn films.

RA2 for me lacks seriousness, big time, it's too childish, RA1 was a game that left me standing on the chair 24/7, RA2 didin't do so, by far.

I know you won't agree, so I'll have to agree that we don't agree.

Bwhahahahahahahahaha

Everyone has freedom of opinion of course, but claiming RA1 had EXCELLENT FILMS and RA2 not and that RA1 had good actors was just.... mwahahaha :)

FACT: C&C film clips are ment to be campy and silly.

Who can't love the Crazy Ivan blowing the Allied general up in RA2 for example? :p

Or Yuri's Revenge soviet ending... :)

I don't love them. And when I say RA1 films are excellent, then I do so in comparison to RA2. C&C films are meant to be embedded with the campaign, not be silly to the point of retard like RA2 and its expansion, my point of view. But then again those films couldn't be not silly, when the whole concept of the game with mind controlled fish, psychic soldiers, was silly.

Don't be like that Xard. We all know that it is scientific fact that it is possible to travel into the past and remove people from history through handshakes!

We also know that, had Nazi Germany not existed, female commandos would have been used to infiltrate large bases using only dualwielded pistols and C4!

Red Alert was a very serious game for very serious people.
