I am experienced, and I was discussing mainly about attracting hot women. They're used to guys kissing up to them. Being the opposite; a challenging guy with value is how you attract them, since you are being different than the rest.

I find simply hanging round looking pretty does the job just as well and with less effort tbh.

When one considers that a meaningful relationship involves NOT being an unpredictable bastard, one begins to wonder if homosexuality is more sensible.

Maybe the importance of personality is overestimated. Perhaps it's just me, but I've seen mostly with couples that the man looks like they could do better than the woman they're with, whether as guys dating women out of their league is a rarity. Now if women placed heavy emphasis on personality as opposed to looks, then why haven't I seen more of the latter? Well, it could very well be my fault, I don't know.

 

Or maybe in most cases good looks gives one the confidence to show their personality, as opposed to less attractive and liked people who may feel bad about themselves compared to people more attractive and popular than them. So they may have a hard time showing their personality because they're shy, and generally reservedness is ascribed to ones personality, which is wrong, one of the reasons being because what you say is more important than how much you say.

 

But I'd say self-esteem is the key. If you have to tell yourself or remind yourself in your head of whatever it is to boost yourself mentally, then do it. You're more likely to be more attractive personality wise when you're happy, relaxed and confident than you are when you feel like ****, are nervous and scared.

If women were all too concerned about looks, then you'd hear about how popular man-porn websites are with them. I believe that looks are a contributing factor, but not as big as character/personality. Me, I've adopted the persona of a "nice jerk." I do my best to be as pleasant as possible, yet tease them about stuff. She never knows when I may compliment or make fun of her, which creates unpredictability, like Walsh mentioned.

Yeah I'm about the same. I'm a conceited smart ass, but nice as pie at the same time. Or at least that's what I think. Can't be certain what other people are thinking, nor do I really care to be honest.

 

I still reckon looks are just as important though, because of the correlation between that and expressing your personality. I'm not saying better looking people have better personalities, just that it's more likely more attractive people are less likely to be as timid and sheltered with their personality.

Looks are enough to get you plenty of one night stands, which is all I want as relationships suck so that way works fine for me. Enough of the girls I hang around with like me for just how I generally act to mean I wouldn't have to put on a specific act to get them. I think it's the calling them all fat slags which does it tbh. That's totally the way to go.
