TheAngryCaptain Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Hi. Recently i've landed on Nar Shaadda, and i've did some quests here and there, any i could find. But now it seems i'm stuck. I can't do anything, really. The Exchange doesn't contact me, i can't pass the blocked door in the alien, i CAN'T speak to Harharr or Mira (When i try to discuss they just stare, bug?) and that's it. The quests i've did are were all for light side points, like refugiees and everything. Anyway. Can YOU help me out?

You said that the exchange hasn't contacted you, yet you also said that Hanharr and Mira are there...?????? You don't interact with them until AFTER the exchange contacts you, and even though you only interact with one or the other depending on your alignment. It sounds like you've got a helluva bug - hope you've got a save-game before you landed... Watchman Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Ya, sounds like a bug. You do have to create quite some commotion b4 you will get the Exchange's attention. You will know you got it when you get a cut seen with that flying guy that manages the dock the Ebon Hawk is parted on.
TheAngryCaptain Posted June 6, 2007 Author Posted June 6, 2007 (edited) hope you've got a save-game before you landed... Crap.... No but seriously the exchange didn't contact me, i went to their office and talk to Mr. Tentacle and talked about refugiees and everything, and i had the cutscene with the guys who harass the manager of the dock, and i killed them. then Mira and Harharr popped out of nowhere, and they just WON'T talk. P.S.: Is the dance useful to someone or something? Edited June 6, 2007 by TheAngryCaptain
LadyCrimson Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 If I recall correctly, the dance for the Hutt is to put him to sleep so your character can do a quest of sneakery. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts

P.S.: Is the dance useful to someone or something? Hanharr and Mira should never "pop out of nowhere" in any form of interaction with you. When you killed the red ecplise guys - the contact from the exchange normally comes immediately afterwards. Try running around Nar Shadaa a bit more and see if anything pops up - alternatively try paying the little dude outside the cantina to change your status with the exchange. You could also just try a save game before the red eclipse to see if it happens again. Bug?
Hassat Hunter Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Yes. These 2 showing up is a known bug. They are the Mira and Hanharr used for cutscenes in the main Nar Shaddaa area and are supposed to be invisible. However sometimes that just dissapears. And they have no actions beside functioning in these cutscenes (hence the "no reaction"). This also sometimes affects the Twin Suns in the door to the Cantina, and the 2 thugs you can jump down (they just stay there instead of leaving). Now to fix your problem try: Q. I am stuck on Nar Shaddaa. Visquis does not wish to contact me.A. This can be caused by several things. 1. Red Eclipse fight. This is a required event, needed to proceed. After doing this you will still not be contacted unless the Exchange has heard of you though. When in the Refugee Sector there is a Speederbike you can repair. If you use this bike to exit the Sector though you might miss the trigger that causes the Red Eclipse to spawn. To make them spawn enter the Refugee Sector and exit it again on foot... 2. The Exchange might not have noticed you. Ask the bat-like creature in the Cantina Sector what the Exchange thinks of you. If this is not enough you can pay him 2000 credits. You wan't to pay it to please the Exchange if they already like you a bit or pay him to piss of the Exchange if they already started hating you. This should be enough to make them notice you. 3. There is an issue that the call was made without actually being played if you exit the Ebon Hawk and then re-enter it right away when the call should have taken place. Usually this is notified by a clone of Atton standing outside of the Ebon Hawk. If this is happening download the KSE here and use it on your save. Change 300NAR_Visquis_Call=1 to 300NAR_Visquis_Call=0 under Globals-Booleans ^ I agree that that is such a stupid idiotic pathetic garbage hateful retarded scumbag evil satanic nazi like term ever created. Watchman Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 As an added comment, I never get the Exchange call until I exit from the docks area into the landing area (where the Ebon Hawk is). It may just be how I play the game but I can't remember ever getting the call at any other time.

No - I'm pretty sure that's right - which is often what causes the problem for people by coming back to that area using the speeder. It often helps to walk out of that area and back in (getting the loading screen each way) to try to prod the message up "Definition: 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope.
