Deraldin Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 (edited) I've seen that before. It's just so huge it's ridiculous. Edited February 19, 2007 by Deraldin
Sand Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 What the hell is that thing?!?!?!? I want it! I think I need a bigger box. Murphy's Law of Computer Gaming: The listed minimum specifications written on the box by the publisher are not the minimum specifications of the game set by the developer. @\NightandtheShape/@ - "Because you're a bizzare strange deranged human?" Meshugger Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Ay caramba! "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
Slowtrain Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 It's getting to the point with todays pcs that you need to have dedicated 30 AMP circuit run especially for your computer. Anything less is liable to either pop your breakers or start a fire in the walls. The amount of power required and heat put out is really nuts. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.
Sand Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 When a portable nuclear generator is needed to be the computer's PSU then I'll worry. LadyCrimson Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Is that thing just for cooling? “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts

Deraldin Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Is that thing just for cooling? Yup. One giant heat sink. Space for two 120mm fans I believe.
