But Riftworm, I still haven't heard you saying anything good about NWN2. And you keep making these topics where you want only bash NWN2, then you get banned from Bio forums and after that you start this topic. You really expect we won't think like this is just another topic where you try to prove how superior NWN1 is?

 

My first thought was "Great, now he's trying to prove NWN1 being more succesful than second one since they're going to "stop supporting the game"."

as Gromnir warned already in the now defunct thread, rift's clearly hyperbolic and outrageous claims made it so nobody would take him/her serious. now even if rift were to makes a valid contribution it is gonna get dismissed... or at least it is less likely to gets serious consideration.

Yet blue, angshuman, and Crashgirl all seem to be discussing the topic fine before you and kirottu started yet again derailing the thread topic, and before Gromnir hopped on the bandwagon to start including personal discussion.

 

What War? What army? What on earth are you talking about? This thread topic is a question about Atari support for the franchise. Nothing else. I'm sorry you got all bent out of shape and couldn;t control your emotions that someone else didn't like the state of NWN2 in another thread. Is that what you wanted to hear? The thing is there is already two patch threads in the stickies. One dealing withthe recent release and the other discussing the next patch. Issues with the patches and the patching system is to discussed in those threads as well. There is no need to start new threads on patches.

woe is rift, eh? you ask a question. we gave an answer... or if it makes you feel better, we came up with a hypothesis. am not speaking for everybody so much as giving you a reasonable reason for people not taking you serious.

 

and again, we got no real bias 'gainst you. as we said 'bove, we will (and do) judge each of your posts on their own merits.

 

nevertheless, your thread is somewhat pointless. nwn sold well and atari wanted to keep franchise going... so they creates multiple expansions and continue support for years. if nwnw2 game does well 'nuff insofar as sales is concerned to merit future support, it will get future support. is not complicated. if game tanks, then atari will cut loses and wash hands of nwn2 as quick as possible, as there is no legit business reason to throw good money after bad.
