;) whats the best class to start off in???

I SHOT THE SHERIFF, BUT I DID NOT SHOOT THE DEPUTY!

Sentinel for all the skills and the rather balanced combat ability. ;)

cool, thanx!!! any other suggestions

Sith Marauder

It's all a matter of preference, but Guardian is my favorite. It also depends on what Prestige Class you're planning on choosing.

I always choose Guardian----Sith Lord...:D I know their not related, but I wanted 2 Force Powers at some level up, and Force Jump. :joy:

Sentinels also get paralysis immunity at level 12 or so, and immunities to fear and stun. However, they can still be force choked by sith enemies or so. And powers like insanity still work against Sentinel PCs. However, with skills, it helps especially if fighting becomes tiring.

Deep from within...

Victims live a life of fantasy.

Some see salvation as an act of God, a few look within for it.

Consular, because later in the game you really start kicking ass with force powers and almost have unlimited force, because its so much, but you lack feats and some other level ups, it mainly focuses on force using.

Jedi Counsular and Jedi Master, sometimes Jedi Guardian--Jedi Weapon Master. Jedi counsulars fits my style, use Force power than pure lightsaber dueling. I used two weapon fighting to amend Counsular's weak damage. You know, if you're freezed and beat to death, it's not funny.

Agreed.

I have tried all three many times. I tend to go against the sentinel as I

find I can augment skills quite easily with items, which I equip when I am

doing skill stuff, and then re-equip combat stuff afterwards. I also find that

if you kill the enemies quick enough, they never get a chance to stun/fear/

paralyse you, so the immunites are fairly redundant.

Consular -> Weaponmaster/Marauder is a good combo giving the force focus

feats, to improve your force abilities, then the uber combat abilities and saber

styles of the Weaponmaster/Marauder.

Likewise Guardian -> Master/Lord is a good combo, giving force jump, and plenty

of initial feats, then loads of force abilities, using jump followed by lightning storm/

force wave, is a nice combo, that can wipe out scores of opponents.

My personal favourite is Consular -> Weaponmaster/Marauder.

Laterz...

IMO combining different classes together makes weaker classes...

Like Guardian--Jedi Master, not so much wisdom (Unless you use cheats) which means you can't counter Force Powers so easily.

Eh, your playing method is more average, mine is more focusing.

I agree with CSI, since I always use Consular/Master (Or Sith Lord), making my character strong in the Force. It depends on the player I guess.

Agreed CSI, I do prefer a balanced approach. I have tried focused classes

before, and it does work, I just prefer to be able to weaken my enemies with

force powers then annihilate them with my dual uber-sabers, MWAHAHAHAHA.

(although there really isn't any reason why you can't do that as a focused class)

Really, as the game works, I would go Guardian -> Weaponmaster/Marauder if

staying focused, as you can get so many force powers anyway, although you

don't get force focus, which is useful.

Really, you should decide based on your style of play, if stand back and blast

then Consular -> Master/Lord, if close and personal, Guardian -> Weaponmaster/

Marauder, if a balanced then Sentinel -> Watchman/Assassin or mix classes to

reach your personal favourite combo of skills/feats/powers.

My advice would be, don't take advice, decide for yourself, based on what you want,

there are no wrong answers. You will tend to pick the classes that suit you as a

person and also suit your gaming style, thus making the experience better. (w00t)

Laterz...

Thanks.

Eh, although Weapon Master lost the "Force Focus", but he gained "Greater Prestige Sense" and "Superior Two Weapon Fighting", like Master Kavar, a famed Jedi Weapon master.

But if you want a complete class (Maybe non-canon)

Jedi Master

Jedi Sage Master--Jedi Counsular's Master level, not prestige

Jedi Watchman

Jedi Warrior Master--Jedi Guardian's master level, not prestige

Jedi Weapon Master

And a lot of other Jedi classes such as Jedi Gate Master, Battle Master and such various titles.

Don't call me master. Titles make my skin crawl.

I need to play JA again...

The last time I played it was two months ago. I feel like playing some games over the Christmas season. As well as being on LF and Obsidian. Let's get back on-topic now.

Can you two stop spamming...

Spam Spam Spam Spam Spam....

Whoops, you said stop spamming, never mind...

I actually played JA recently, just for a change, got to vjun

and got bored though... may finish it sometime... :aiee:

Back on topic...

Just thinking, but wouldn't guardian -> Watchman/Assassin work

well, with good opening feats, force jump, and good close assault

abilities, then adding in sneak attack, (with a good stunning saber

and either paralysis or stasis field) could end up a uber damage

beast in combat, plus have some nice natural skill levels (before

items) and average force powers.... just a thought. :aiee:

May try this on my next play-through... :p

laterz...

(edit - spelling mistake :'( )

Vjun goes for too long, isnt there like 3 parts to it? Sigh. Acid rain indeed.

It doesn't matter what class you choose - you're the strongest character in the game (more or less). By the time you hit well, maybe your third planet, you're almost unbeatable anyway. Carve through enemies with a lightsaber, or force-spam them to death or both... it doesn't matter so long as they're dead. :aiee:.

But in reply to the question, I find I like the Sentinel the most. I like the skills they have. I don't care much for their immunities, but they seem a nice blend between the two. I also prefer the weapon master to go with my sentinel - simply because I enjoy wielding lightsabers at a later level. Alternatively, a consular/watchman can be quite nice - or consular/assassin.

HK47: Commentary: It is not possible to destroy the master. It is suggested that you run while my blasters warm, meatbags.

Bastila to Revan: You are easily the vainest, most arrogant man I have ever met!

Canderous to Bastila: Insults? Maybe if your master had trained your lightsaber to be as quick as your tongue you could have escaped those Vulkars, you spoiled little Jedi princess!
