So I guess this film is really coming along now after years of development hell. Theres been a tidbit out in the last little bit with some rejected costume concepts:

As evidenced by the 3rd pic, this suit in the right light looks badass. So if this is a rejected design, I can't wait to see the final.

 

My casting choice for Tony Stark/Iron Man is Ed Quinn. He plays Nathan Stark on Eureka.

Yeah, that Tom Cruise rumour was bandied about a while ago. It would be silly as it would just add loads to the production cost (not just his fee but also making everyone else shorter) and teh film would just end up being Iron Cruise.

Actually, it wasn't so much a rumor that he was playing him moreso as Tom Cruise saying he would love to play Iron Man.
