Masta Revan
when i installed my kotor game it would not play when i pressed the button. I would press it and then the screen would go black as if it would start then go back to desk top. I also set my resolution to the lowest quality and it still didn't work and disabled movies Also my friend had this problem but it finnaly worked after a few days and trys. Would there happen to be a faster way for it to work I pitty the fool who don't have the force.

Purgatorio
I interpreted the "I would press it" to mean past tense. Why emphasize the "I" ? It has no bearing to Masta Revan's question. I am sure someone has an answer. What are your specs? It might help. * Shrugs * Edited August 24, 2006 by Purgatorio S.A.S.I.S.P.G.M.D.G.S.M.B. Bogj
Instead of insulting masta revan, why not try to be helpful? I checked the KOTOR 2 support page on lucasarts.com. They suggest the following: Make sure there is at least 200MBytes of free space on the hard drive after installation, for paging. Make sure all other applications are closed (screensavers, virus protection). Make sure you have directx 9.0c installed. Check the play disc for scratches or other damage. Finally, you may have a corrupt installation. Uninstal and reinstal the game. I hope that helps.

FieryDove
Make sure Norton Internet Security or Zone alarm security suite is off when trying to start the game. (It may not have anything to do with these type programs however there are a large amount of newer games that get a black screen/won't run or run slowwwww when these programs are running in background.)
