I hope the force tricks aren't static, or tied to the enviroment. But knowing Lucas, this could very well be a "click a button and you'll see an in-game force power video!"-system.

*Shrugs* But if its not static it could be really awesome. Didn't LA buy the rights for a new "exiting" physic engine not a long time ago?

It's part of the same system ("Euphoria") they use for the new Indiana Jones game, where everything acts differently everytime. It's not static.

Go and watch the IJ-trailer, you will see a similar effect, without force powers, of course. :p

I noticed Physis were in the engine. That's great. Some of that was hilarious too... like how the Clone troopers was holding on for dear life onto the beam.

I felt bad for the Stromtrooper when he started yelling help.

Dawes ain't too bright. Hitting rock bottom is when you leave 2 tickets on the dash of your car, leave it unlocked hoping someone will steal them & when you come back, there are 4 tickets on your dashboard.

It's his fault for not being able to hit anything smaller than a barnyard wall.

Dont know if its posted before, but the Star Wars Next Gen Video from youtube looks very good. Would be a nice engine for Kotor III.

It does appear to be good. I sure hope this emphasis on the more popular Force Abilities does prevent the developers from including the less common, i.e., Force Destruction(DS), Force Meld(LS), and certain forms of ancient Sith Alchemy.

I don't know why they would want an engine that is "exiting", although, it would logically be cheaper than an "exciting" one...

Somebody shoot me please.

I still say the graphics and gameplay in that video look more suited to JA style action gaming than KOTOR style RPG gaming.

But that's just me.

I have to agree, seems like a sequal to JA more then KotOR.

Yes it would be sick to have a physics engine and be able to have surroundings like that but quite frankly I believe thats its just gona stay as it is

There was a bit of a controversy at the youtube website, over whether this new title will be Wii-exclusive or not. If all those movements are dynamic, and not part of static fp animations, then maybe they really do need something like the 'wii remote' in order to be performed. On the other hand, you could perhaps manage to do them by an intricate combination of mouse and keyboard?

So anyhow, this means, that if a K3 will ever come out, and if in case it looks like this, then that's great news for me, because I won't be able to waste a week on it. :)

I really doubt that this game is exclusive for one console. It's pretty much THE star wars game, all marketing is centered around it. A game like that won't be released on just one console, especially if it's not the market leader.

Besides, the moves don't seem very hard to do, and the same system is used for Indiana Jones, which is for 360 and PS3.

MAybe LA uses that engine for that Darth Vader game?

Yeah, that kind of engine is better for Jedi Knight series than RPG's

How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them.

It is definitely possible for an RPG to utilize an engine of that type. Just take a look at BioWare's Mass Effect project. All combat within the game is Real-time.
