May 19, 200619 yr Author The beams show up in the dark so it doesn't have to bounce off the stars. Silly Wals. And it is a good way to blind someone, I think I read on teh forums that the flash blind distance for the lower powered Spyders (200mW) is around 300 meters (tested with a camera). Gnarly stuff. RIP
