kirottu Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 This is from Eldar from a locked thread. Down with alignment! I mean, what the hell, why doesn't every town have someone who casts detect evil every day. Bring everyone in and kill the folks who glow! hahahaha There should totally be a campaign where this happens. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Some sort of inquisition in D&D campaign would be totally cool. They really only have cast detect evil. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
Calax Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 if the road to hell is paved with good intentions is the road to heaven paved with sin? Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
metadigital Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 "To defeat Evil, you must become Evil" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds like Lawful Evil to me. alignment is evil <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What he said. Anyway, this thread better imrpove or I'm going kill it. And I'm not evil. Much. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
vaxen83 Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Both Lawful Good/Neutral Good are fine by me. Deep from within... Victims live a life of fantasy. Some see salvation as an act of God, a few look within for it. 朱宣澧
Musopticon? Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Ladies and gents(we're still alive, by the skin of our teeth...), we have a necropost. Hey vaxen, didn't we go over this already? Only resurrect threads that you have something to add to. I don't want to berate you, but posts like "Both are fine", "I agree" and "I don't know", really don't qualify. It needs to be somehting constructive or somehting that moves the discussion forward, otherwise you can just forget posting altogether. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. alanschu Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Well, since I apparently missed it, I'll go with Lawful Neutral, based on the character comparison of Vhailor from Planescape: Torment.
Musopticon? Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Was he really lawful neutral? Considering his actions, he seemed to be bordering on the chaotic neutral. Then again, it's been three years since my last(and only) playthrough. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Blank Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Well, since we are officially resuscitating this thing... This is from Eldar from a locked thread. Down with alignment! I mean, what the hell, why doesn't every town have someone who casts detect evil every day. Bring everyone in and kill the folks who glow! hahahaha There should totally be a campaign where this happens. Maybe we could set up 3 towns/cities where everything goes according to Allignment Rules. Crazy ass evil town, Super diddly do Good town and Neutral town. Players interact with them, maybe starting/solving conflicts etc. A nod to Allignment craziness that ****s with your mind. NWN2 toolkit anyone? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I really like this idea. There are a lot of possibilities. The players would be the only "sane" ones, who recognize that there is more than just 9 arbitrary limits to why a person does something. They could go through the town and encounter crazies and try to convince the crazies but never be successful. And there would be one sane person in the town who went crazy being alone and killed themself and you find their journal and read about how they were sane.

Then again, it's been three years since my last(and only) playthrough. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yup. For him it was all about justice. And his drive for justice was sooooooo strong that it continued on long after the life of his body.
Fairplay Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 pffft! Planescape. Planescape killed my disk drive. Poop on Planescape! Don't see what was so special about Planescape. What alignment would the characters from Fallout 2 be?
Deraldin Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 What alignment would the characters from Fallout 2 be? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Chaotic Stupid. "Hey look! [CHARNAME] is between me and my randomly determined target for this round. Time for a burst shot!"

Dark_Raven Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Marcus. Never give him a mini-gun and make the mistake of being in front of him. :"> Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
alanschu Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 That's not even really Marcus' fault. I mean, it is a minigun (that somehow only holds 120 rounds...haha).
Dark_Raven Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 It was funny, he chunked my character. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Darque Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Oddly this has never happened to any of my characters in either game. Ian. Marcus.
Dark_Raven Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 You did not give them automatic weapons did you? Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Judge Hades Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I did. I simply positioned myself behind them.
Dark_Raven Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 That was when I first got the game and didn't know any better. I prefer to stay behind and snipe the enemy and leave the npcs as cannon fodder. My own team is in danger if I break out the machine guns though. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
alanschu Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 It's hard to keep them ahead of you though, given that they follow you.
Judge Hades Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 That is where a high agility to have high amount of action points come in. I GO FIRST!
Colrom Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Probably lawful evil. As dark is the absence of light, so evil is the absence of good. If you would destroy evil, do good. Evil cannot be perfected. Thank God.
metadigital Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 ... And Colron is awarded the first prize for Non Sequitur, 2006. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
