May 16, 200619 yr Yep. I get about 15 to 20 FPS in open sky combat which is just fine by me. I got maxed out 6x AA, and high end on all settings except HDR, my card doesn't support it. The only setting I have at minimum is resolution at 640 x 480. Plays quite satisfactory.
May 16, 200619 yr 15 to 20 fps.... More willing to sacrifice than me I guess. I get headaches at that framerate. What card do you have though, that does 6xAA with high selected on all other settings, but doesn't support HDR?

May 16, 200619 yr I don't find combat affects my FPS too much. It typically chugs around at a constant rate. I just notice it more because my life depends on it more. I typically have no problems with 30, but once it starts dropping below that and I can easily perceive the missed frames, I start getting a headache. It's similar with the 60 Hz monitor refresh rate. You're the first person I have met that said 15 fps is a-ok for them. EDIT: Darque, my point still stands. It's been that way for years. Edited May 16, 200619 yr by alanschu

When a Console has the full range of capabilities of a PC then I'll go fully console. For now consoles are just for games and I do more than just game.

May 16, 200619 yr Hey, I am just a typical consumer of goods. I look for value when I buy a major electronic device and a PC has more value than a console. Always have and always will.
