The site for the upcoming Shadowrun game has openened, featuring information about the game, and even forums. And it's really just another case of "I told you so":

Q: What is Shadowrun?

A: Shadowrun

I hate Microsoft.

It sounds like a squad based shooter. That's interesting at least.

not really

A FPS?

LAME!

If I am going to play a Shadowrun game it needs to be a CRPG. I tried the whole changing genre from the base type games before and they sucked big time.

So?

Seriously, we've known it was a FPS game for months. Get over it.

This is the first time I have heard of it being a FPS game, so no.

My apologies, you had posted in the other Shadowrun thread so I assumed you had read the original post. The press release said "a first-person shooter based on an old paper RPG of the same name from a couple decades ago."

If a game is based on a RPG then it needs to be a CRPG. I will most certainly skipping this game. Too bad to, for I was looking forward for a Shadowrun CRPG.

It was never indicated exactly what kind of game it would be.

pure fps or fps/hybrid.

this is the first real info we've had.

FAYA - FAYABORU!!

Spreading beauty with my katana.

Not unexpected but rather boring.

I have to agree with Volourn.  Bioware is pretty much dead now.  Deals like this kills development studios.

Vista

I'm thinking that Vista games might work on Xp too. With some tinkering, that is. I'm not buying or pirating Vista just yet.
