Mr. Brightside Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Which driver is your most favourite? I still think Raikkonen will become World Champion...
Baley Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Maybe, but I doubt he'd get there this year, I used to root for him when I was younger, but now I just find the whole thing boring and mundane.
Mr. Brightside Posted May 3, 2006 Author Posted May 3, 2006 If I am honest, I can say, that I am not sure if Raikkonen even become second. But it is a dream which should be kept alive ...
LoneWolf16 Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 It's such an exercise in futility...and it wastes fuel, right? Other than that, mildly entertaining, and it's all opinion anyway. Plus, crashes are fun! I had thought that some of nature's journeymen had made men and not made them well, for they imitated humanity so abominably. - Book of Counted Sorrows 'Cause I won't know the man that kills me and I don't know these men I kill but we all wind up on the same side 'cause ain't none of us doin' god's will. - Everlast
kirottu Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 (edited) About 50% of the tracks are so old that modern formula cars have extremely hard time trying to make a pass. So from time to time it Edited May 3, 2006 by kirottu This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
metadigital Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 The British guy Jenson Button has a good chance, now that Schumacher doesn't win everything. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
metadigital Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Meow! OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
Baley Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 (edited) Schumacher won the last one. Renault is going strong. Button is a decent driver but Honda ain't all that great. Edited May 3, 2006 by Baley
mkreku Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 I used to care about F1 back in the days.. but it's all become too car-centric now. Best car wins, not the best driver. Also, I hate how they keep tweaking the rules each year, trying to stop whichever car manufacturer won last year from winning again next year. Ronnie Pettersson for teh win!! Surreptishus Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 F1 gets worse every year what with the changes and and stuff but its still better than bloody NASCAR.
thepixiesrock Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 That said, it doesn't take much to be better than NASCAR. Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.
Mr. Brightside Posted May 4, 2006 Author Posted May 4, 2006 The British guy Jenson Button has a good chance, now that Schumacher doesn't win everything. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But you really forgot Alonso. I don't think that Button has a chance to win this year. As Baley said, Honda is not good enough at time.
Pidesco Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Tiago Monteiro for the win! "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.
Mr. Brightside Posted May 4, 2006 Author Posted May 4, 2006 Perhaps in some years. I think he is too young and unexpirienced.
