WinterSun Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 You can give them any Daedric Shrine artefact, it doesnt have to be the star.. although I didnt know what it was foreither and so I gave that away instead of the hammer or some of the other crap you can get. The funny thing is that you don't have to worry about how your attribute points spread out. No matter what, you're going to get through the game, unless it's too difficult for you, which is when you lower the difficulty setting. You're still taking an awful lot of time and text trying to explain how the game "forces" you to meta-game. It doesn't. You choose to meta-game because you see those shiny +3 and +5 multipliers and forget that you can still choose the attribute you wanted, even though it only gives +1. Getting a mere +1 in Intelligence at levelup mean you wont be able to chuck out those spells who cost upwards 500 Mana to cast. I chose Restoration and Destructionas my class magic schools.. bad move since neither one causes INT to rise, and so I have only about 110 Mana at level 17 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had that same problem. I used Alchemy to get the +5 modifiers to my INT. The poisons came in handy during combat, especially at higher levels. It's a pretty good source of cash too. master of my domain Pedicabo ego vos et irrumabo.

Musopticon? Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Best ways to spam multipliers is probaly either; buying every store empty of ingredients and making alchemy which also gives you a ton of money, or summoning stuff and then spamming block and armor skill by getting the creature to attack you. I always have 5x in Intelligence and Endurance when I level. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. But usually it was all from field work and I still got +5 multipliers. I never upped intelligence, though, because I needed the physical stats more at the time. "Of course the people don't want war. Kaftan Barlast Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Conjuration is good, too. That's what I've been using to up my INT. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The problem is that as I dont have conjuration or mysticism as class skills, I only have about 8-15 in them and you need a minimum of 25 for even the lowest spells from those schools DISCLAIMER: Do not take what I write seriously unless it is clearly and in no uncertain terms, declared by me to be meant in a serious and non-humoristic manner. alanschu Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Really? I could have sworn I found spells in those schools to cast to improve my skill in them.

Minor detect life for mystiscism. Bound dagger for conjuration. Luckily it dosnt take long to get to 25. Once you start constantly summoning a skeleton conjuration goes up quite nicely. WinterSun Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 A quick way to increase magic skills is to head through an Oblivion gate and get to the portal tower. At the top there should be two mana fountains. Cast whatever minor spell you have until your mana runs out, recharge it from the fountain, then while recharges, run to the other fountain and repeat. master of my domain Pedicabo ego vos et irrumabo.
