April 6, 200619 yr Anyone else interested in this Source-based FPS? I'm preloading it right now. Current 3DMark
April 6, 200619 yr Oooh, preload. Actually, I'm not sure I'll end up buying this one. Maybe there'll be a demo, we'll see. Heck, I'm not even convinced I'd be getting HL2 Ep1. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)

April 6, 200619 yr It's all downloaded but won't unlock itself until May 9  <{POST_SNAPBACK}> is there an incentive to preload? EDIT: 10% discount from Steam Edited April 6, 200619 yr by WITHTEETH Always outnumbered, never out gunned! Unreal Tournament 2004 Handle:Enlight_2.0 Myspace Website! My rig
April 6, 200619 yr is there an incentive to preload? Some of my friends never pre-loaded Half Life 2 until the last day. It wasn't pretty...
April 6, 200619 yr Also, you get the original Sin game with multiplayer available right now if you preorder. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
April 6, 200619 yr Also, you get the original Sin game with multiplayer available right now if you preorder. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Whoa. I'm pre-ordering...
April 6, 200619 yr Isn't $19.95 a bit expensive for 3-5 hours of gameplay. Will further episodes be, cheaper?
April 6, 200619 yr Plus, since each episode will tell only a small part of the main story, episodes are useless without other episodes. So, for a satisfactory gaming experince, you have to buy and play all episodes. And that makes $180.. This is just ridiculous. I am pretty sure they will release sorta collection of all episodes in one package in the future. Better to wait that one. Edited April 6, 200619 yr by karka
April 6, 200619 yr I agree. 50$ for 10 hours is much more reasonable. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
April 6, 200619 yr I agree. 50$ for 10 hours is much more reasonable. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If it has a complete story and proper ending yes it's much more reasonable. Still, i don't buy such a game.
April 6, 200619 yr Author I don't enjoy a game until the second time around, when there's less of a rush to beat it. Maybe it's just me. Edited April 6, 200619 yr by Bokishi Current 3DMark
April 7, 200619 yr I still play Half-Life 2, all the time: it never gets uninstalled from my PC. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
April 7, 200619 yr Then you aren't getting your money's worth. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Very true. That's why i'm not a fan of the genre. But, still i'm glad i played AVP2, No One Lives Forever, MoH: AA and JK Series...
April 7, 200619 yr RPGs are harder to replay IMO. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why is that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Beats me. I've never wanted to replay an FPS unless it was in some sort of MP capacity. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]
April 7, 200619 yr I always found RPGs to be the most replayable type of games there is. Most of my games that I replay are RPGs.
April 7, 200619 yr Hmmm, when was the last time I even replayed a game? It's been a while. I don't really have the time to replay, nowadays. A shame, perhaps. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
