I LOVE TOTAL WAR...

The first total war back in the day was super impressive to me

and from then on I've been hooked.

 

I wouldnt say Im a crazy fanboy collecter of it

that gets everything on release.

But yeah Im a fan..

 

 

Any other big fans here?

Whats your favorite Total war and your favorite Map and Factions.

 

Mines probably Medieval for the time period,

Then again Shogun Was the orignal and impressive at the time.

 

But Rome, Rome introduced the best tactical over world map..

 

I think my favorite is yet to come out, Medieval Total War 2 <3

I got to say, Thing I didnt like about Rome

is that you dont win by takeing the hole map..

I wish it gave you the option to at least I alway feel like

its unfinished.. bloody ejyptions.

Seriously cool - something to keep us going until TWM2.

 

I was hoping they'd give us an Alexander game/expansion - I'm really looking forward to this one.

The Creative Assembly's working on an expansion pack for Rome: Total War called Alexander, according to PC Zone, and it'll be released through a digital distribution service when it's finished.

 

Alexander will span the years from the death of Philip II of Macedon in 336BC to the great warmonger's own clog-popping, says Zone, with six historical battles that highlight his biggest fights, multiplayer and four new factions.

 

Those are Alexander's Macedonian army, The Persians, The Indians and the Barbarians, with 50 or so new units included in total and - as Zone rightly points out, brilliantly - Brian Blessed doing the job of game narrator.

wonder what happens when you hit the main period from RTW... becasue all the intro movies for the post Alexander groups mention that the groups are trying to recreate alex's achievement
