I liked both games the same really. The only reason I give the nod to K1 is because the ending felt more complete.

it was a hard choice. k1 had complete and good story and all. k2, fully upgrade able. different planets, ship, etc. it is close call for me. but i voted for k2 because it is fulleyupgradeable. everything is more upgradeable stuff like that.

Would not mind K2, except that Peragus could have been placed at a later time in its story. It was a bit rushed.

Of course, it is sequel. In sequels there is always more stuff. Question is, how much there is new stuff (quite much in k2, though most new force powers were useless)

I voted for TSL, because I was able to enjoy playing all the classes, whereas I hated sentinel in KOTOR. I like both though, and I actually like the story from the first better than the second. Maybe if the second story had been a little more filled out, a bit bustier, I would have liked it better. Its tough though, there were characters from both of them that I liked, and also characters from both that I disliked. Suffice it to say, I own both, I play both, and I would buy III if they made it.

Well, if anything in K2, it made slightly more visible those locations in K1 that reappeared in K2 to be less dark somehow. An example would be like crystal cave on Dantooine.
