ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Project New Jersey is on the games list. And I finally know what happened to Monster Carnival. Cheers for that I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327
Meshugger Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Basically, they know as much as the rest of people on this forum. Good choice of having Jon Bon Jovi on the cover of PNJ :D "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 (edited) Just looking at the games list makes me go "I want one" Thats a very young looking Lulu on the cover of FFXIII Edited March 3, 2006 by ShadowPaladin V1.0 I have to agree with Volourn. Meshugger Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Just looking at the games list makes me go "I want one" Thats a very young looking Lulu on the cover of FFXIII <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe a prequel?! <_< "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Maybe a prequel?! <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's not likely. At least not with Lulu in it. What Lulu does and did is well documented. I think it's just a case of finding a "cover" for games which very little is known about. Unless of course NJ is a game about Bon Jovi (w00t) I have to agree with Volourn. BattleCookiee Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Thanks again for the list which reminds me why I stick to PC-gaming... And What the Hell does UT2007 does up on that list? UT was always PC-only, the console-people always get Unreal Chapmpionship ?
Ginthaeriel Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Holy Crap! A 3d fighting game by the makers of Guilty Gear?! I want!!
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 It's a very impressive list I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 (edited) Lair (of course) and Embrace of Time caught my eye. But theres at least 10 I'd buy probably more if I looked more carefully. karka Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Actually i'm not impressed. I have no interest for Japanese games.
Archmonarch Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Of the ones I hadnt heard of before, those that caught my eye were the new Quantic Dreams games (Infraworld and Omikron 2), Broken Saints, Theseis, and the new Shin Megami Tensei. I also noticed Master Project (from the a concept piece) and Monster Carnival, for its artwork's resemblance to Legends of Dragoon. Finally, the description of Schwarzenberg strongly resembled Walsinham's WW2 RPG campaign idea found here. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had

BattleCookiee Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 (edited) $$$ 2k7 will be only PS3, but PC will get it first. This game is currently scheduled for release on PC, and is expected for release in some form on next-gen consoles as well (sample footage assumedly of a portion or the characters of UT2007 was displayed at E3 2005 on PS3 as a concept demo), although exact plans for release have not been confirmed. Rumors, how fun. Hey, if I "expect" PNJ to come to PC, would people listen? Edit; making sure that the expectation thingie is showed. And the portion of UT2007 display; Eh; Sony made a deal to make alot of UE3 engine based games for the PS3 and even if it is footage of a UT title it would be logical to be UC3. Did I already mention how I loathe rumors without base? Edited March 3, 2006 by BattleCookiee

Seven months later, the two companies have broken their silence. metadigital Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Certainly the line-up of games makes the Xbox look anaemic. Me likey the look of these (anyone know anything about them?): Angel Rings Publisher: SCE Developer: SCE Broken Saints Publisher: TBA Developer: Gnosis Games Castlevania Publisher: Konami Developer: Konami Dark Sector Hype meter: Publisher: D3 Publisher Developer: Digital Extremes The Outsider Publisher: TBA Developer: Frontier Developments Project IM Publisher: TBA Developer: Zero Point Software ??? OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
BattleCookiee Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 (edited) -SNAP- Reread your article... the statements were made by a FORUM MEMBER without any contacts with Epic/Midway... And thus any credibility is lost... Also PSM reps contacted by GameSpot said that editors for the magazine were "told personally" by both Midway and Epic reps that UT 2007 would be ready on or around the launch of the PS3. However, Midway, Epic, Sony Computer Entertainment America, or War_Tourist had not given an official statement regarding UT 2007's PS3 release plans as of press time How funny. They got it but nobody actually talked with them about it... Edited March 3, 2006 by BattleCookiee
