LadyCrimson
Capote - very good film. History of Violence - not a very good film...although the ending showdown between Viggo and William Hurt was pretty damn funny, in a twisted humor kind of way. I think Viggo's chin could give Kirk Douglas' chin a run for it's money...yes I'm mean. “Things are as they are. Cantousent
I went to see History of Violence with a young friend of mine when it first hit the theater. She thought it was awesome. I mean, totaly awesome. I thought it was okay. The best parts were funny, although I wasn't quite sure I was meant to laugh at all of them. I watched six sense again today. Great film. I enjoyed Signs even more. However, The Village or whatever the name of that last one was just didn't impress me. LadyCrimson
I thought the Untouchables was entertaining. Certainly not a "serious" gangster movie...just action melodrama entertainment, if y'know what I mean. And Connery always rules, even if you can make fun of him at the same time. I mean, I laughed at his silly purple outfit and stuff during The Highlander, but he was still cool. :D “Things are as they are. kirottu
Zardoz was good in a way. Sorf of. Kinda. Connery really seemed to want to do something else than 007 then. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time. LadyCrimson
I almost mentioned that Connery film, but I couldn't remember it's name. I would've said something like "that movie where he ran around in orange jock strap rags." :D Definitely a hilarious moment in his career... “Things are as they are.
