WinterSun Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 As long as Bethesda stay true to Fallout and have you wandering through a wasteland getting the smack-down from wildlife, I'll be happy. I mean, they managed it with Morrowind, right? master of my domain Pedicabo ego vos et irrumabo.
alanschu Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 (edited) I agree with alan too! I'm sure he wouldn't randomly antagonize people just for the sake of it! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Go go irony! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh he's quite right. I don't randomly antagonize people. mkreku Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 I doubt she'd play it even if someone gave it to her and a 20 dollar bill to cover her time. Haha, this made me laugh.. for all the wrong reasons. Yeah. You go, girl. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
metadigital Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 And your point is? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> See next post after yours. SSgtSniper Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Aha. I was confrused. Which sometimes isn't that hard, I know. And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth unto Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be, In Nomine Patris, et Fili, et Spiritus Sancti.

Is that an invisible rabbit, or a blind one ... Well you know what causes blindness. 20 years. 20 dollars. The conspiracy thickens. On-topic: Never played FO or FO II so I would just base FO III on what I find of it. And I will start making assumptions on it's fate after the release of Oblivion... Diogo Ribeiro Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 A little secret: I haven't even played Fallout. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nothing beats walking into a dangerous wasteland for the first time while wearing nothing but a blue jumpsuit, and only carrying a water canteen and a rusty knife.

mr insomniac Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 My guess would be Wasteland I took this job because I thought you were just a legend. Just a story. A story to scare little kids. But you're the real deal. The demon who dares to challenge God. So what the hell do you want? Don't seem to me like you're out to make this stinkin' world a better place. Why you gotta kill all my men? Why you gotta kill me? Nothing personal. It's just revenge.

alanschu Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 (edited) I've never played it When I first played Fallout, I don't think I was that big into PC gaming at the time. EDIT: Found it on Underdogs. Hopefully it doesn't feel too dated, being a 1989 game. Edited March 1, 2006 by alanschu
CoM_Solaufein Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Wasteland is a classic. Good classics never seem dated like Fallout. alanschu Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Sorry. It's just it plays very much like a 1989 game :\ Though I still might give it another go, but the prospect of alt-tabbing between the manual and the game itself just pulled me out of it.

Tigranes Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 The Paperless Office forbids such activities. Just buy another monitor. I tried it a while ago, but gave up because it was actually damn hard. Although, I seemed to have had marched straight into some desert or radiative place that kept killing off everyone. CoM_Solaufein Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 We are all spoiled by technology and it fancy glitter. I find it hard at times to play a simple game like Atari's Space Invaders or Galaxia. Diogo Ribeiro Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Actually.. walking out into the desert wasteland with your little group of newbie Desert Rangers, equipped with the bare minimum to survive the hostile environment does. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wasteland was also very good but I found Fallout had an advantage over it in this particular scenario. Wasteland usually starts off with four characters somewhat decently equipped and placed in a setting that they are familiar with, and with the task of peace keeping. On the other hand when the Vault Dweller leaves the Vault largely unprepared and we're told that that was the first time he ever saw the light of day... It felt more powerful, I guess. I think it nailed down the concept of surviving in a harsh environment better. Of course, Wasteland was a damn good game as well.
