February 9, 200619 yr It's got less quality than most short porn movie previews you can find on the net, and it barely shows anything other than shadows, some character models and vague one liners. But why it's only like, 4 megs or something so why not. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought it was a good presentation. Remember, this is the first look. There have already been beautiful screenshots (notably of a big red dragon in the US Xmas PC Gamer) so I was looking primarily at the animation, which appeared flawless, at least to my eyes (+2 for long sight, -1 for short sight after long periods of time). And what's up with scary-factor? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tormentness without the messy reading lolz. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There has to be a theme to any narrative, and spooky is probably the easiest to pull off successfully (cf comedy). Think Thief in NwN ... I was quite unimpressed with the teaser.... Thought they show some role-playing and combat, instead I get some lame supposed-to-be-creepy snippets. Meh. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Overall I think it looks pretty promising, and I'm waiting to see the next teaser, which will hopefully have some combat scenes (which also, hopefully, won't be lame).
