February 9, 200619 yr Some times it's even better than a lightsaber with the right upgrades. I gave that sword and the Echani blade to Visas when I had it with good upgrades since lightsabers were scarce at the moment.

February 9, 200619 yr Slightly off topic but on the subject of good swords, the name escapes me atm but the sword you get after finishing Kashyyyk in K1 was really good. I thought it was even better than most lightsabers once it was upgraded.

February 10, 200619 yr Melee weapons are far suprior and more fun than ranged weapons. Plus only real Jedi would use a melee weapon and not some "uncivilized" blaster. February 10, 200619 yr Sith Tremor Sword and the Echani Vibrosword are the best one-handed melee weapons (not including lightsabers). Upgrade them with an Ostrine Edge, a Vibration Cell IV (or Energy Cell IV if you don't have the prerequisites), and a Superior Zabrak or Arginium Grip, and you have something that deals out critical hits more frequently, and inflicts a boatload of damage. Great for cleaving through energy shielded opponents. Give Canderous two of them, combined with Power Attack, and watch him slice and dice.

Ostrine edge, either the best ion cell (early) or the best energy cell (later) and the best Nagai grip I can manage at the time. In both. In leiu of the Tremor, the Echani sword is good as well.
