Deraldin Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 My sources say that you can only create a golem with a mage PC... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you mean the golem at Creator's Isle, then no. I created it with Rogue/Shadowdancer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Okay. Thanks for the heads up! I missed it with my rogue. None of the golem parts appeared for me. <_<
alanschu Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I've got a huge Jagged Alliance 1 and 2 list... 1. Ice 2. Hitman 3. Snake (They killed him off for the sequel) 4. Grunty 5. Magic 6. Fox (unstable women make the best comments) 7. Lynx 8. All the psychos from that second rate merc company (They all were good with knives) 9. The surfer guy...Scully? 10. Fidel...oh, he should be higher...he's right under Ice really. But he was not as cool in JA2. In JA he killed one of my merc girls overnight for bewing obnoxious. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I loved Shadow. Hardcore to the bone. I'd have him single-handedly take out patrols in the night and no one would even know he was there, aside from the odd muzzle flash. By the time they went to where it was, he as long gone....shooting them in the back! :D

I am guessing he was the best NPC in Jagged Alliance 2..? Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
alanschu Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 The 100% camo, all the time was a nice perk! Coupled with mad skills and just seemed to be perfect for the role. I had the stealth skill as well, which made things particularly fun as we'd attack foritified positions at night. Nothing nightgoggles and a laser scope can't take care of
Darque Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Stealth sucks It's all about Nightvision... or double nightvision.. and UV goggles "
Volourn Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Dawnstar, Jaheria, Fall-From-Grace, Marcus, Aribeth, HK-47, Jeannette/Teresa and many others... DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Volourn Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Even more reason to like him! DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
alanschu Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 (edited) Stealth sucks It's all about Nightvision... or double nightvision.. and UV goggles " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh I used that. But the stealth let me walk around without making any noise while crouched. It's useful for when you are out of combat (and don't need a gajillion move points to move around). As an NPC, I liked Marcus. He was just too reckless with his minigun. Edited January 30, 2006 by alanschu
Darque Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 You get more stealthy as your level increases, with or without the skill The person who sees farthest wins :D
Sargallath Abraxium Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 ...in no particular order, 'cept fer the skull bein' numero uno: Morte (PS:T) Dak'kon (PS:T) Fall-From-Grace (PS:T) Annah (PS:T) TTO (PS:T) Minsc & Boo (BG Saga) Korgan (BG II) Cespenar (BG - ToB) Kresselack (IWD) Sidney (Vagrant Story - PS1) ...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!... 1 A long, long time ago, but I can still remember, How the Trolling used to make me smile. And I knew if I had my chance, I could egg on a few Trolls to "dance", And maybe we'd be happy for a while. But then Krackhead left and so did Klown; Volo and Turnip were banned, Mystake got run out o' town. Bad news on the Front Page, BIOweenia said goodbye in a heated rage. I can't remember if I cried When I heard that TORN was recently fried, But sadness touched me deep inside, The day...Black Isle died. For tarna, Visc, an' the rest o' the ol' Islanders that fell along the way
Volourn Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 You actually liked Cespenar? Owww.. His voice still annoys me even after not playing the game for a very long time. LOL :D DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.

alanschu Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 You get more stealthy as your level increases, with or without the skill The person who sees farthest wins :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which is why I'm wearing the UV goggles as well. It is nice to sneak up right behind a guy and kill him with a single shot to the head though. I know you get sneakier as you level up, but I've never noticed a complete absence of sound like I do with the stealthy skill. IIRC it also gives you a silencer at the beginning of the game.
alanschu Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Since no one else gave them props, I feel I should give some mentions to my homeboys Iolo, Shamino, and Dupre!
mkreku Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Dupre (Ultima) - great fun for many games, and then the stunner on Serpent Isle. :'( Since no one else gave them props, I feel I should give some mentions to my homeboys Iolo, Shamino, and Dupre! Fixed! Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

alanschu Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Hmmmmm. I don't recall every getting the Night Ops skill. Certainly not x2 I think I usually gave myself a teaching attribute as well, so I could get those pesky Militia up and going a bit faster. Still...you have a hard time seeing me with my Stealth and Camo as well....so there has to be some trade off. Though I don't know what bonuses the Night Ops gives you.
Darque Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Night Ops is like having built in Night goggles Night Ops x2 is like having built in UV goggles :D And Night Goggles and UV Goggles STACK with that (w00t)
