Daaave Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 So far I'm getting: Fallout1+2 Baldur's Gate Torment Anachronox Ultima VII VMT: Bloodlines Arcanum Infinity Engine games It's a good job I have a lot of free time and the government pays me to got to college. Now i just need to find all these. Keep the suggestions coming. Thanks for the replys everyone who's posted so far. Much appreciated. Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.
Plano Skywalker Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Morrowind GOTY (with Tribunal and Bloodmoon) is a good, 3D, open-ended cRPG, single-player.
Daaave Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Tried Morrowind, couldn't really get into it though. Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.
Plano Skywalker Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 do you prefer high fantasy or alternate settings?
Daaave Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 do you prefer high fantasy or alternate settings? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't really have a preference on that tbh. Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.

By saying Infinity Engine games, i refer to Baldur's Gate series, Icewind Dale series and Torment. Infinity is an engine for creating CRPG's. Also if you like comics i suggest you Freedom Force games. They have good stories, and really enjoyable gameplay. There are two F(reedom)F(orce) games. 1- Freedom Force 2- Freedom Force vs The Third Reich Also wait for Bioshock It will rock!
Daaave Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 * Adds Icewind Dale and Freedom force games to ever growing list of RPG goodness* Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Gabrielle Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 The IE games are excellent choices, plus they have lots of mods for them.
Jorian Drake Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 (edited) Hmm.. Try Jeanne d'Arc too, its like 'american heroic' style , but its good. And don't forget Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator Yes, just DON'T FORGET IT, YOU'LL JUST LOVE IT :D (w00t) " (don't mind old graphs and a little bad fightingsystem, intrigueing unique world and supreme story what evolves willl await you) Edited January 8, 2006 by jorian
Daaave Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 *Adds Septerra Core to list* Jean D'Arc sounds french, french sounding things scare me ... and i don't trust those shifty eyes either. Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.
Jorian Drake Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 (edited) Its french, the real girl who just saved france, gave them hope again in the 100 years war, all this in rpg style game, if i find a link i post it. (the game is in english too) Edited January 8, 2006 by jorian
Daaave Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Do you play out the 100 years? Because that would own if you did. Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.
Jorian Drake Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 no, just the 5 or so years where all the real action was, where the nearly defeated french with Jeanne as leader kicked the english out of the continent. :D

Jorian Drake Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 (edited) verrrry nice graphs, but as posted, a little too 'american heroic' style fantastic music too ... hmm but if ya real good, at the end of game Jeanne don't die as in real life (change a bit of history lads (w00t) ) Edited January 8, 2006 by jorian
Daaave Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Have it here: http://www.enlight.com/joa/joa_english see it for ya self, it IS good, (and what the hell do you have agains french? dont ya play Broken sword too couse the girl in it is french? ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Never played Broken Sword because i thought it looked kinda boring. I don't have anything in particular against the French, I studied it for 5 years though. Still have nightmares about it. Thankies for the link, will take a look now. Jorian Drake Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Either, as long as it's decent and can keep me occupied. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well obvious Septerra Core is for you, it will keep ya occupied, it is nearly so long as the BG series
Daaave Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Ooooooooooooo good things written about that thar Joan of Arc thingy, might look into it. Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.
Jorian Drake Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Jeanne has an interestin concept : a little real-time strategy build in, and if you prefer this, you just get feats for Jeanne to have better leadership, and if you hate trategy, than you just keep Jeanne have all feats to upgrade warskills, so she can fight alone a whole army of redshirts(or whatever english are ) real awesome to look at the scene :D
Haitoku Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 (edited) And don't forget Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator Yes, just DON'T FORGET IT, YOU'LL JUST LOVE IT grin.gif w00t.gif whistling.gif original.gif laughing.gif tongue.gif thumbsup.gif Keep in mind, it's a console RPG masquerading as a PC RPG.
