how do you get motta to give you fuel? he says he'll give it to me if i kill goto but goto joins my party so how do you get him to give it to you? thanks.

first of all download the fix http://www.team-gizka.org/downloads.html it will be on the list, you dont need to kill goto but u should destroy his yacht once he captures you.

i did destroy his yacht but motta still tells me not to come back until i have gotos head chained behind me.

whos motta lol well he shouldent say that unless you did something wrong. What other dioualge options pop up?

And Motta would be the Hutt on Nar Shaddaa, when you tell him about the deal without Gizka's patch, the quest log goes "too far" into the future... while the ingame progress stays at the current moment, but to finish it of the quest log should be in the current moment...

 

If you don't understand what I said, don't worry, just make sure you get the patch (and haven't talked about the Fuel with Motta before in the save you have)

Yes, it's Vogga. Motta is the Hutt on Tatooine in KOTOR I.

Ah, my mistake then...

I think you have to blow up G0-T0's yacht, and then when I talk to Vogga it usually works. I'm sure that's all you need to do, but maybe you need G0T0 with you as well?

This is my first time playing it on the PC and i am having trouble with it the same problem has the other guy. I usally play this on xbox so...

Eh, another problem with this quest that I have always had:

 

I do get Motta to agree to give fuel, but he tells me to go talk to the officer on Telos station. When I do that I have no option to tell about the fuel Motta is willing to sell at a fair price.

 

This of course has made me unable to ever finish this quest, and they always complain about the fuel when I am there last time.......

Can you make him sleep? Try that and then wake him up, see if he talks then...

Someone posted in our project forums about a similar issue. Did you talk to G0T0 about Vogga's fuel before talking to Vogga? There's a bug in G0T0's dialogue that resets an important variable in the Fuel Quest (200TEL_Fuel). To continue with the quest, you can use the Kotor Savegame Editor to change this global variable back to its necessarily value (200TEL_Fuel = 3).

I didn't have the option until the Ravager attacked to tell the guy on Telos, but it still worked...
