kumquatq3 Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10266534/index.html Tracks found in Scotland look to be from an ancient water scorpion as big as a kitchen table. If the analysis is right, it is the first evidence of the creature coming ashore. The scorpion, a six-legged thing called Hibbertopterus, was about 5 feet (1.5 meters) long and 3 feet (1 meter) wide. It is long since extinct.
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Awww I wanted to go fight one I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327
SteveThaiBinh Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 So much information, just from some tracks. It looks utterly gormless. I think I may know someone who's a direct descendant. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
kumquatq3 Posted December 1, 2005 Author Posted December 1, 2005 Awww I wanted to go fight one <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know a guy named "Scorpion", you could fight him
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 It's an elongated Horse Shoe crab. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327
kumquatq3 Posted December 1, 2005 Author Posted December 1, 2005 I would have deleted that joke too Doomy
kumquatq3 Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 It was something like: No, but it did stay at a holiday inn express last night
Mojo Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Awww I wanted to go fight one <{POST_SNAPBACK}> With a spear...
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 With a spear... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I dont own a spear. I was thinking of a Claymore need something with some reach and some leverage. Wouldnt really want to kill it though although I doubt it would share the sentiment. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Mojo Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 With a spear... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I dont own a spear. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You could always make one... for Giant Scorpion fighting "
kumquatq3 Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 and, if by some cruel twist of fate, you can't find a giant scorpion.......there are always chimps that need dying
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 You could always make one... for Giant Scorpion fighting " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Really wouldnt want to kill it. Just sort of test myself against it Kind of like subduing a Dragon only with a giant scorpion. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327
kumquatq3 Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 Well, we could give Volourn a spear.
Azure79 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 So the question is who would win? A giant scorpion or a chimp? And who would go on to fight kumquat? Will spectators feast upon the flesh of the fallen?
SteveThaiBinh Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 So the question is who would win? A giant scorpion or a chimp? Would this be a spear-holding or non spear-holding chimp? Plus there's the nature of the audience to consider. Home crowd always gives an advantage. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
kumquatq3 Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 In the end it would not matter. I will give them a good death. except the chimp
Gabrielle Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 The chimp is a wimp. One slahs by the stinger of the scorpian and he would be dead.
krazikatt Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 It's an elongated Horse Shoe crab. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's what I was thinking too... Looks much more like a horseshoe crab than a scorpion. My baby girl arrived 6/16/06!
kumquatq3 Posted December 3, 2005 Author Posted December 3, 2005 It's an elongated Horse Shoe crab. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's what I was thinking too... Looks much more like a horseshoe crab than a scorpion. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> at the end of the article it says it's closest realitives are scorpions and a few crab species. so, you know, makes sense
