Arkan Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Just wanted to know if the framerate is better <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why play it on 360? So you can worry about the game crashing or something? "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta

ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Is KOTORII on the EU BC list ? Just make sure they don't try to scam you by making you buy 2 extra games before they will hand it over. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]
Jedihuh? Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 I have the 360 but i haven't played kotor 2 on it yet.

Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)
xtreme49 Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 I read in some other forums someone tried the xbox version of Half-life2 on 360, to see if the framerate improved, as it was bad on the xbox, and although it looked slightly better, the framerate supposedly stayed the same. I'd assume it'd be the same case with KOTOR.
Haitoku Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 I'm guessing the Xbox 360 "Emulates" the FPS drops to keep the overall timing accurate. PS2 does the same thing when you are playing PS1 games.

On second thought, they probably are doing something like that already, otherwise I don't see those 3 brain-damaged cores actually *emulating* anything worthwhile.
