well, it is a monthly and it is set 8 years before K1 (which is actually less than 8 years before Revan and Malak are trotting around the galaxy).

I don't think there is any question that the series will eventually catch up with Revan and Malak.

with the comic series, I think the chances of a "hard coded" Revan with an actual appearance, gender, surname, alignment (LS-redeemed), etc becomes much more likely.

I see that as well.

I'm sure Revan, or at least Malak, will be mentioned. If not I hope the Masters like Vrook or Vandar will be mentioned.

Actually KOTOR was placed in Era created in Tales of the Jedi comic series...

HERMOCRATES:

Nur Ab Sal was one such king. He it was, say the wise men of Egypt, who first put men in the colossus, making many freaks

of nature at times when the celestial spheres were well aligned.

SOCRATES:

This I doubt. We are hearing a child's tale.

yes, the Tales of the Jedi is the "ancient setting" or one of them at least.

I see KOTOR as a subset of the ancient setting and I think it is appropriate to think of Revan as the central character of that subcontext.

Let us not forget that Revan is the primary protagonist of this era.  They really can't just have him hovering around the margins...his story is destined to be told in full.

Knowing Star Wars and Lucas Arts history, this is bound to be screwed up. I dont read comics, but if they plan on changing some major plot points in the comic, then Kotor III may be screwed up as well

Don't worry TSL screwed Revan's story so much that no comic will be able to screw it more.

Dark Horse is a bit like Raven, releasing lot's of good quality, but mediocre stuff from a wide variety.

Dude star wars comics are better than the movies and games. The 2002 -2005 Republic series beats ALL star wars films. You just don't know what you're talking about!
