Am almost through my first DS game of K2. Playing as DS PC is actually harder than LS. (Mainly due to Jedi Masters) Two force powers that help in terms of healing: Battle meditation (slight increase in life regeneration since Heal is LS force power but short time) and Death Field. Force lightning also helps quite a bit.

 

Somehow, LS games are easier to understand and play in K2...

I can't belive that some puny jedi masters can be a challenge. (They won't be a challenge for even G0T0, actually)

Anyway the game is too easy on both LS and DS.

I actually did think that DS was easier. I thought it was easier near the end of the game, especially in Onderon going through the second time. But I have to say, the first lightsaber duel I had DS with Master Vrook was THE HARDEST I've ever had. I had to use mines and run around in circles because he kept master healing.

My thoughts on Vrook using a DS PC: Use Plague on him and that will slow him down. If he keeps healing, just Plague him until he decides to chase your PC. Keep leading him around one of your party members without running too far from him but enough to keep out of attack range (Run in narrow circles). As you are running, (making sure that Vrook is not too far behind you) use Force lightning on him. Just keep Plague and Force lightning in effect.

 

This worked for me as my physical attacks missed many times even with Master Speed. Besides, Plague works on any enemy except maybe the Tukata' on Korriban. (Same for K1)

plague has a DC of 100, so it's pretty much impossible to save against. it's an easy way of lowering their stats so you can go on to use Kill, Insanity, Scream, Storm and the like without them having as much of a chance of saving against them

Consular/Sith Lord for me, too.  By the end of the game, I could force-storm everyone in the room to a crisp in about 5 seconds.

You don't need to be a Consular/Sith Lord to do that. In fact with the easy difficulty level you can be just about anything (including big-time LS saint) and still do that without problem.

Jedi Consular / Sith Lord - Pretty cool when you have a fist full of force power.

Jedi Guardian / Sith Marauder - Very good weapons master.

Sentinel - Maruder using guns and no force-powers since it is quite fun and challeging that way.
