Guest Fishboot Posted October 2, 2005 Share Posted October 2, 2005 I've run around a bit in DoD source and I think I may be a bit too used to LDR - I find the patches of "overexposed" light kind of distracting, and the eye adjustment effect feels pretty much like lens flare 2.0 (as in, a minor affectation). I have just been overclocking my processor, and added Catalyst 5.9 Omega drivers, and Half-Life: Source looks almost as good as Half-Life 2 ... Last we heard it was going to be released this month, but according to Valve's Doug Lombardi we won't be seeing it until next year now. Valve :We're working very hard to finish this new episode for HL2, however, its going to take us a bit more time to get it into top shape. As such, the target release for this one is now Feb/March of next year. This is disapointing. It was suppose to come out in the 15th of November, this month. 5 days from now.
