Bokishi Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Im fairly decent. Depends on the music that's being played, but I find that I just can't dance without music. Current 3DMark

alanschu Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Err, I have that whole move the arms and hips thing and vary my patterns based on what the heck people are doing around me. It takes me about 5 minutes to get ready to dance if I go to a dance club....during which time I observe and "learn" how to dance

Kaftan Barlast Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 I can be a vey good dancer but th problem is that Im very bodily aware and as such I feel very silly when shuffling about the dancefloor. This in turn leads to me being incapable of dancing in a serious and controlled manner. All my friends seem to suffer from the same symptom. alanschu Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Which reminded me of that killer dance Tim Robbins does in Nothing to Lose when his pants catch on fire!

Walsingham Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 I know some of you are thinking "There's nothing funny about a rhino that has been set on fire. It would be tragic and painful." LadyCrimson Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Depends on the kind of dancing. Ballroom I'm pretty decent at doing, and it's fun. The rhumba, polka's, whatever....but you need a partner for it and hubby doesn't dance much. Dancing randomly to please myself I probably look fairly silly, but then who doesn't. Modern youth popular dancing routines of any sort, I'm clueless and you won't find me on the dance floor at all. “Things are as they are. Darth_Schmarth Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 but I find that I just can't dance without music. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you often find yourself trying to dance when there's no music? Personally I'm just damn lucky I'm a musician, otherwise I'd probably be all over the place. I don't know much 'bout dancing (that's why I got this song, one o' my legs is shorter than the other and both my feet's too long), but thankfully I can at least keep the beat. ^Asinus asinorum in saecula saeculorum

SteveThaiBinh Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 I have no skills in dancing, but I'm very good at finding reasons not to dance or appearing to be busy with something else. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)

Lucius Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 I don't, I prefer to just lean against something while slowly nodding my head to the beat and clinging on to my overprised drink, trying to look as cool as possible. DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.

Darkside Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 At school dances I am often the one that spends the night eating pizza and chocolate. Dancing isn't a class skill for nerds.
Darth_Schmarth Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 School's old. I go to places where adult people get drunk and dance just so that they get an excuse to make out with strangers. And I live in the perfect country for it. ^Asinus asinorum in saecula saeculorum
