The Age of Empires in space.

More like Age of Empires on Naboo and other SW planets.

Nitpicker.

That explains why I never played it then.

Naboo=the place that Jar Jar was conceived.

The place where JarJar's parents did it!

(Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)

As long as Jar Jar isn't in Empire at War, I'll probably pick it up.

Empire at War takes place a little bit before A New Hope. Vader is his awesomeness and all that fun stuff.

Darn, so I don't get full control over a Death Star?

My first order of business would be to make sure that construction was actually complete on it.

Death Star is usable.

Death Star is usable.

I'm sold. I don't even care anymore if Jar Jar appears. It'll give me my first target for my Death Star.

Moff Tarkin: "Let's use Alderaan to test the Death Star laser"

Me: "Alderaan my ass. Jar Jar, wesa coming for yousa!"

of course they never said jar jar went back to naboo. Or the fact that Naboo ever exsisted in any place other than Geroge's Sock after the birth of vader.

Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.

Nothing spectacular.

Clearly you're unacquainted with Simon the Killer Ewok. ^_^

General Anakin can join my army with tactics like those.

Wouldn't it be "Moff" or something?

Moff seemed to be some bizarro title. Moff JerJerrod is the one pleading with Vader that he needs more time/men in Return of the Jedi.

And Grand Moff Tarkin of course.

I assumed Moff was more a political title. Presumably the Empire has a Navy and Army. Mostly we see Navy officers in the movies.

Moff is a govoner of a sector or system, I'm not really sure. All I know is they are civil leaders that are appointed like magistrates rather than voted into office. The reason Tarkin became grand moff is he dealt with Tax protesters efficently (he landed on them)

Wow... its about time someone did an RTS to scale. I'm very impressed with the graphical side of it. Hopefully it will live up to what it says it will do gameplay wise. If so, it could be one of the best RTS' of all time.

Scale and graphics are nice. Gameplay is another thing.

Galactic Battlegrounds was a Star Wars RTS that kept me interested for about 2 hours. It looked nice, sounded nice, and had a geek factor.

Empire at War is supposed to skip the less-fun aspects of play.

Something like that. I think it's easiest to think of a Moff as the president or prime minister of a country, while anyone with a General, Commander, Admiral, etc. rank is actually in the army/navy forces in "earth terms".

I guess there is General Veers, so I suppose General GoA works.

Although since he's controlling the Death Star, perhaps Admiral?

Or maybe Moff works because governing that thing is probably not too unlike a planet.

Just call me Emperor.

I suggest a change in avatar then.

Emperor of Dagobah.
