Correction, he got pissed off by some racist comments Nur Ab Sal made and the lack of action from Obsidian moderation considering it's outlined in The Rules that those kind of comments are not to be made here. He proceeded to boycott the forums, and he changed his avatar right before he left.

Fenghuang's on the money. I too objected to a lack of decisive action, and I hope we will never have a recurrence of such behaviour. For it will be met with extreme sanction.

Hah, incidents like that always make life a bit more colorful. I once remember like 6 years ago back in school, we had this very fine lady from Seattle as an Exchange Student or whatever to support us in our English course.... At any rate, at some point she asked me what Books I'm currently reading, but she said "Books" like "Bugs" and I was totally paralized because it didn't make any sense. I said "Bugs"? She replied "Yes, Bugs". Oh boy, without elaborating too much, it took some time until I realized she meant "Books". There was laughter, too.
