I've read that myself.

I thought the prelude was worth the whole book.

I'm confused, is it the beer or the book that isn't very good?

I'm not reading anything right now. I should, though.

Ah, yes, I make a habit of only reading Kierkegaard when partly intoxicated. In fact, I still have a beer bottle lying around somewhere. It's not very good. Though that's not why I drink it.

Fun fact, Kiekagaard means church yard, his afather use to work at a church yard and damned god fior giving him such a hard life thus creating in his mind a curse which he later told Soren about. Thats the story I've read. His father use to teach him logic as a child too.

As the father of existentialism, how well do you think Soren justifies believing in faith when he knows its a paradox as he calls it in the first place. Whats your impressions of this book?

Pedersen, love, I'm sort of drunk and have only managed to read a small portion of A Panegyric Upon Abraham. I'd prefer posting my opinion on this book once I finish it.

As for my own view, I'd state that the spiritual world exists outside the realm of logic (perhaps even outside the realm of reality) and that analysing it is most often pointless and a terrible waste of time. It ain't supposed to make sense. That's where "faith" comes in, filling the gaps and healing the wounds. Of course now, there's nothing out there to heal faith. Shame bout that.

I should be reading a huge pile of books that I have lying around. I've been too lazy to pick them up.

Among these books are:

Kafka's The Trial

Sartre's Nausea

Dostoevski's The Gambler

Camus' The Myth of Sisyphus

Stendhal's The Red And The Black

That living room of yours is way too clean, tidy and hygienic. It reeks of married. Honestly. I doubt most birds fancy that.

Actually, they seem to adore it. The only problem is when I'm in a longer relationship, and don't clean the place every time the lady drops by. That's when they start complaining.

Apart from the "dance around naked" bit, you're pretty much wrong. ^_^
