Darth Vader Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Ok, hes powerful, but in ROTJ hes OLD. he sounds old too <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He still is powerful in rotj but is confused between good and evil...that makes him weaker.... And only his son can be a match for him...
Baley Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Oh please..poor me my son won't join the bad guys Vader was tough ...but he was more of a Malak figure while Palps seemed more like Revan...personally I think Palps would have one if they went one on one
Darth Vader Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Vader has always been stronger than palpatine...He considered him a master because palpatine was wiser... And please malak is just a big girl with no brain
Kor Qel Droma Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 I voted Windu and the Yodester vs Vandar and Vrook. Just to be different . Mace Windu kicks ass on Lego Star Wars... Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Darth Vader Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 And WOOHOO vader is palpatine's FED EX boy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well,he certainly sent palpatine to oblivion "
Baley Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Yeah...well he took him from behind ...and trew him down a shaft not quite heroic "
Kor Qel Droma Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Yeah...well he took him from behind ...and trew him down a shaft not quite heroic " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It wasn't supposed to be heroic, fool, it was his redeeming moment... Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Darth Flatus Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 baley isnt a sw fan he is just along for the ride so disregard his comments as you see fit.
Kor Qel Droma Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Doesn't he get tired of spamming the boards 24/7? Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Baley Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 I do not spam all my posts are valid ...well most :"> As for SW characters it's simple : Vader=FED EX boy...Palpatine was too smart for him...he became his puppet Nihilus is practicaly invincible -> Nihilus better than Vader
Joukahainen Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Vader has always been stronger than palpatine...He considered him a master because palpatine was wiser...And please malak is just a big girl with no brain <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, if you read the books, Vader wanted Luke to join him so that he COULD take on Palpatine. He knew he couldn't do it alone. Right before Luke tried to strike Palpatine while he was sitting in his chair, Vader considered not blocking Lukes blow and letting Luke strike down Palpatine. But, Vader needed Palpatine to turn Luke to the dark side first. At the same time Palpatine fully intended to have Luke kill Vader and replace him.
LadyCrimson Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Nil is just a big energy vampire. Kirk could beat him down with an anti-matter bomb. :D “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
Darth Flatus Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 obscure reference - but i watched the ep of star trek. i thought it was pretty cheesy actually
Baley Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Okay so let's get back on topic I refuse to vote in a battle with Nihilus as long as Exile isn't in it :D As for what battle I'd like to see ...I'd go with the one where Vrook get's his ass smacked by Jules Btw...what star trek ep was that?
Zhadow Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 'Atris and Exile vs. Kreia and Sion' since I would've really liked a scene like that in Kotor II.
I think I was wrong. Now that I think about it, maybe Palpatine wanted to replace Vader because he was getting TOO powerful. It's been probably over 15 years since I read the book. haha. Maybe I'll have to go back and read them again.
Baley Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Well I might not be an expert in the force...but how could he get more powerful after what happend to him in ep3? Can the DS regenerate you?
Darth Flatus Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 he was/will be crippled and will have lost much of his connection with the force. IT stil leaves him as a more than competent force user but nowhere near what he was just before he got f'd up. but he appears to be physically stronger in teh suit
