Darth Flatus Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 beware, the following statement contains crap logic which does not take into account anything else that happened during the 04/05 season. Arsenal are the true champions they beat Liverpool in a recent fixture and liverpool beat chelsea - so really Arsenal won teh treble this year
Darth Launch Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 You poor deluded child Flatus How I pity you *pats Flatus on the head* Hush now, child, it'll be alright... DL OO-TINI!
Darth Flatus Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 but the main thing is that Manchester united won NOTHING!! NOTHING!! N-O-T-H-I-N-G!! NOTHING
Darth Launch Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 If telling yourself that makes life easier for you to live each day then you do that Flatus, you sweet man-child you :D DL P.S. Ah... the treble... let me tell you how wonderful it was to see Man Utd win the treble... the atmosphere at Barcelona was amazing... *sigh* OO-TINI!
SteveThaiBinh Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 but the main thing is that Manchester united won NOTHING!! NOTHING!! N-O-T-H-I-N-G!!NOTHING <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually Man U won a new owner with little knowledge of or interest in the game, and a massive debt to pay off. So, well done them! I wish I lived in Liverpool today. It must be some party they're having! "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
Darth Launch Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 You wish you lived in Liverpool? Surely you dont hate yourself that much? DL OO-TINI!
Baley Posted May 26, 2005 Author Posted May 26, 2005 Bah...I think Liverpool is just as good as Manchester
Darth Launch Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 You've obviously never visited or lived in either place Baley... DL P.S. Regardless of Liverpool being a cesspool of inbred scallywags (nicest word I could think of), well done to them for winning OO-TINI!
SteveThaiBinh Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Liverpool is a lovely place. I know this for a fact, having seen many episodes of Brookside (a now defunct soap opera set there). They had a massive parade through the city tonight. It looked like loads of fun. Plus all the partying to follow, of course. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
Drakron Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Liverpool is a lovely place. I know this for a fact, having seen many episodes of Brookside (a now defunct soap opera set there). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, if its on TV then IT MUST BE TRUE !!!
Darth Launch Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 My brother studied at Liverpool Uni and had the unfortunate experience of living there for three years... not that friendly a place... there wasnt a week his Halls weren't broken into and when I visited him I genuinely feared for my life! Not to mention my ears bleeding every time I heard 'calm down' echoing through the streets.... *shudder* In its defence... the Cathedral looks pretty DL OO-TINI!
jaguars4ever Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Chelsea : Premier League Champions. Arsenal : FA Cup Champions. Liverpool : Champions League Champions. Manure : Winners of F*** all!
Darth Incredulous Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Manure : Winners of F*** all! Not quite so. They did win their very own leprechaun. They may still pay dearly for it though.
Baley Posted May 27, 2005 Author Posted May 27, 2005 I find it quite funny that Milan got a vote after I first posted again "

metadigital Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 It's funny that Liverpool won't be able to defend their title next year, though. " Why is there so much enmity between two cities so close together ... maybe England needs a Hungarian solution, where the two sprawling metropolises can unite as Buda and Pest once did, over the Danube ... Manpool? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like Liverchester better, I think. But I guess it would be a local referredum costing OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
Darth Launch Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 Gah! 'Liverchester'??? 'Manpool'???? This is crazy talk! A union would never work... for starters we speak different languages and not to mention how Liverpool have made it clear that they'd be opposed to expanding the gene pool beyond their siblings and parents! And to all you Man Utd haters... I pity you DL OO-TINI!
