tk102
I installed the patch last night while in the jungles of Dxun. When I was ready to leave for Onderon with Mandalore, the Sith Assassins attacked. The problem is, they keep re-spawning and the battle never ends. This is my first play-through, but I understand there is supposed to be some conversation with a Mandalorian that says something to the effect "We can take care of the rest here, you get to Onderon..." Has this happened to anyone else?
jkletellier
Well sort of. I was not able to get out of there until i ran over to the large open space in front of the main hanger (the part were you previously always talked to mandalore), then after coninting some fights in that area it cut to the cutscene. So make sure you get to that area because if you stay right in front of the hanget that contains the ship, it seems to never end. Hope that helps. Has this happened to anyone else? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, that happened to me on my first playthrough as well. Ignore what Kreia says about "must eliminate them all". When you've had enough of the battle, go to the Command Center where you first met with Mandalore when you were "escorted" to their camp. There's a trigger outside the door that will start a cutscene taking you to Onderon. I think I fought for hours and leveled up about 8 times before I accidentally stumbled into that trigger on my first playthrough.
Sorall Loskannen
Yes, that happened to me, but before I installed the patch. On my second play through I fought for about 15 minutes before hitting the trigger, and wondered why it wasn't working properly. I believe that this could be a useful level up tool, as long as you stay away from the trigger and just keep fighting. stoffe -mkb-, 8 times you say? I think I'll have to try that. LadyCrimson
This is one of the two fairly well-known inf. experience glitches - it was around before the patch, and yes, it can be confusing if you don't know what's going on. I think there are a few maybe-game-stopper 'bugs' related to this area/time that people have reported but the re-spawning of the Sith as long as that trigger spot isn't entered is...something else. “Things are as they are. Master Dahvernas
I gotta say... This actually one of those more "fun" XP glitches because if you've got most of your party Jedi by this point in the game... The fights are cake-walks and you can literally, as others said, fight for hours and just keep leveling up to almost 50 (or damn close to it). If you've got Keen weapons, FP Damage/Regen and offensive force powers (Wave; Force Storm; Crush) you will take almost NO damage and can just keep whooping Sith arse until the cows... Er, Mandalore comes home
Creston
Not only that, but the named mandalorians never die, they will keep fighting at 1% or so of their health. So if you're ever in danger of almost being killed (which I can't imagine since the game is so easy, but hey), just walk away for awhile and let the Mandalorians handle it. I probably levelled three times or so before I accidentally stumbled over the trigger. Ofcourse, in my second game, I WANTED to fight more assassins, and was never able to. Only six of them or so and let's go. NOOOO... Creston

Did you have the problem where they keep responding, and you PCs keep gaining experience, and it just keeps going in a continuous loop? Just reload a saved game, for there is no other way out of it!
