dialogue wav file compilations

Recommended Posts

So, I've been bored, and have been running through all the dialogue files, putting some together into one file, so I can listen to, say, certain cutscenes without having to play the game. Largely because I got tired of having to click all the individual files for each 'scene'.

Nothing special or anything added to them like music, like the great ones already done w/the unused dialogue pieces.

And was wondering, mostly for the xboxers out there who I assume can't do this...any interest in them?

Sorry if someone already posted something like this...like I said, just bored...heh

K...I'll go ahead and link to a few. Remember, nothing special about these, just spliced 'em together, that's it. :D

The extension says wav but you can rename them to mp3's if you want and it works too.

These 2 are the 'Atton/Disciple' cutscenes that occur if your influence is higher w/Di than Atton.

This one is the 'play pazaak in my head' bit w/Atton - since there's a few different dialogue options I tried to choose a mix that made stand-alone sense...but it's still a little non-sensical if you haven't seen it in the game.

Working on some Disciple ones and then some Bao-Dur ones.

Edit - sorry, fixed first link :p

I just use WindowsXp's SoundRecorder. lol

So many duplicate little files not always in sequential order...hard to know which ones go with what sometimes.

I'm not sure this is actually in the game or not, or if it was partially cut - I don't remember it being the game at any rate.

Anyway, this is when you're landing on Nal Shadda, and Atton's giving his "here we are" speeches...and then one of the NPC's briefly refers to Atton's bathing habits. So there's two files here - the only difference between them is in the first one, Handmaiden delivers one insult, and the 2nd one, Disciple is the insulter, with each insult being different.

For some reason, I get an error message. >_<

Pretty sure they're not in the game...there's tons of small bits like that, that weren't used. There's also a lot of different 'actor-tries' for the same bits - ie, Kreia in a voice that's quite different from the final one in the game.

I'm trying to put together Disciple's holocron bits but that's a really large segment...not sure how to go about it yet.

This is the dialogue from the "Hey (the Ebon Hawk) that's my ship!" cutscene in Nal Shadda. I've always had Atton/Disciple w/me, so their lines are there as would be, but I also included the (Handmaidens?) lines since it works well continuity-wise even tho you can't have all three in your party at once. :D

...I'm also assuming Handmaiden actually says those lines, since I've never played w/her...

The files are there, but I don't have them written down or anything - it'd be a lot of typing....

And...are these two lines in the final game? I don't remember hearing them, but they're pretty funny....Atton when he confronts the twin twi'lek's I think.

(For those who don't want to download, Atton says "Ladies, what you need is a man who understands the two of you and understands your needs....I was kind of hoping that mating with scruffy humans was on that list."

Hahahaha! GO ATTON! :D

I've definitely not heard those lines in the final game -- guess they were too naughty for LA or something. /shrug!

Well, I'll put together the 20 or so files that make up the majority of Atton's 'woman who saved me' section...then anyone who wants can write it out - but the entire Atton-to-Jedi thing consists of about 100-150 wav files w/3 or 4 different 'dialogue angles' and that's too much for me...

Back in a bit.

Hey, those are pretty cool sound files. Now I know what their English voices sound like.^^

But I must say that Atton's and Bao's voices are really different from the German ones! Atton's German voice is softer and Bao's louder. In case anyone would like to hear the short conversation between Atton and Bao about 'Exile+Atton=?', I would like to post it here, but I have a problem:

How do I get their voices into a nice file like yours, LadyCrimson?

Are they in the "Stream Voice" folder? There are lots of files in there, but I can't open them! I mean, I can open them, but Media Player always shows a lentgh of 0 seconds and that's what I get! Nothing!

I have a savegame in which all I have to do is enter the ship to get that conversation, maybe I can get it directly form there?

WHat order do the voices go in? I got:

Kreia

Atton

Bao-Dur

Handmaiden

???? (Di?)

Visas

HK

Mira

GO-TO

Mandalore

Would n't it be much simpler to read the dialogues in a logical suite of entries/replies than to listen to a series of separated sound filles?

If you get Kotor tool and editortk102's dlg editor you can read the dialogues in a form similar to this. (acutally it looks a little different: this is a pic of Kotor tool's dlg editor which does not fully support TSL for the moment but I don't hav ethe game with me right now and I cannot take a pic).

The dlg files in tsl are located in the bifs (for party members) and the module specific stuff int he ERFs.>modules (it's easily identifiable with Kotor tool)
