ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 just doing my usual preordering and I came across this. http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/produc...itle=spy_vs_spy "Spy vs. Spy" is one of MAD Magazine's longest-running and best-known features. For nearly four decades, the Black Spy and White Spy have been building their bizarre, elaborate contraptions in an endless parry of "Joke and Dagger." Award-winning cartoonist Antonio Prohias fled Cuba one step ahead of Castro's authorities at the height of the Cold War. He ended up in New York, where he began working for MAD. Since 1961, his Spies have been silently turning tables on each other in crazier and ever-more bizarre schemes of one-upmanship. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Loof Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Coool ... but why oh why does it have to be for PS2 I don't have one dammit!!!
Sirus Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I remember playing the old Spy VS Spy at my friends house. Too bad it's on the PS2.
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted April 1, 2005 Author Posted April 1, 2005 It's on Xbox too. I just happened to be looking at the PS2 order list at the time. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]
Baneblade Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 This seems strange <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why ? Spy Vs. Spy was a great fun back in the stoneage. "If at first you don't succeed... So much for skydiving." - Henry Youngman.
mkreku Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 The strength of the Spy vs. Spy games (on the Commodore 64 at least) was that you had a split screen and you could play against a friend. One was black, the other was white, and you placed traps and mines and all sorts of evil things for your opponent to wander into. It was actually great fun. I'll probably give it a glance, since it's coming out on the PS2. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
