RitterOne Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Believe it will come out when it is ready... And hopefully not sooner... hate to have a bunch of new bugs to deal with... Anyways, good night... to tired to think straight...
jedimaster1141 Posted March 11, 2005 Author Posted March 11, 2005 i wonder how the developers would vote
Eplebit Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 I've lost faith that it will be out anytime soon. Kotor 2 is on the shelf. Long live Snake Eater!
Aegis Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 I assume that last option is supposed to represent "when hell freeze over" or something similar.
random evil guy Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 polls suck ass and it'll come out next week...
Tanuvein Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 polls suck ass and it'll come out next week... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I figure some time this month.
Nek Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 well, good patches always take enough time about 2 or 3 months
iceman879 Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 "Soon" should be on the list. lol. That's when it'll be out. No need for a poll. Obviously some folks have a different definition of "soon" than Obisdian. I'd rather they take as much time as they need. There's too many people griping the game was rushed as it is. Now we got people saying saying they want the patch NOW. Good grief! Let them make their own schedule and release the patch when it's ready.
Yst Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 A poll that asks for a date range but remains open for a series of dates subsequent to its posting is a perverse statistical muddle indeed
11XHooah Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 I noticed that "new kotor patch coming soon!" on the main page has been bumped to the top instead of lingering between news about reviews. Perhaps this is a hint that the patch may be coming out within the next few days? War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. --John Stewart Mill-- "Victory was for those willing to fight and die. Intellectuals could theorize until they sucked their thumbs right off their hands, but in the real world, power still flowed from the barrel of a gun.....you could send in your bleeding-heart do-gooders, you could hold hands and pray and sing hootenanny songs and invoke the great gods CNN and BBC, but the only way to finally open the roads to the big-eyed babies was to show up with more guns." --Black Hawk Down-- MySpace: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendid=44500195
Lemurmania Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Frankly, I'm glad they're not rushing it. I'd rather they took their time and polished the patch to a fine shine, if you know what I mean. I'd go into more detail, but my flogging arm is tired and the dead horse is stinky.
The Great Phantom Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 I say screw 29.99! I want my money's worth in the first place! Okay, I feel better. Oh, wait, one more thing. Lucas Arts, WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Geekified Star Wars Geek Heart of the Force, Arm of the Force "Only a Sith deals in absolutes!" -Obi-wan to Anakin (NOT advocating Grey-Jedidom) "The Force doesn't control people, Kreia controls people."
Kayn Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 I assume that last option is supposed to represent "when hell freeze over" or something similar. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hell is already frozen... (At least in viking mythos...)
Tanuvein Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 I assume that last option is supposed to represent "when hell freeze over" or something similar. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hell is already frozen... (At least in viking mythos...) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As in the Divine Comedy.

Heaven was too boring...

Fionavar Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Um ... could we try to stay somewhat on topic in regard to the thread. We would not want to think SPAM was occuring after all FLoSD.ObE The universe is change; your life is what our thoughts make it - Marcus Aurelius (161)
Darth Brooks Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Do what I'm doing. Re-install Kotor 1 and play that once or twice (or several dozen times) while you're waiting for the patch.
Aegis Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Fionavar, honestly, discussing whether hell has frozen over or not is probably a more interesting topic than whatever discussion the original topic ever could've resulted in.
Redmen Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 The main Q is if the patch will just fix the graphic bugs or if it will add any of the cut material at least the hk factory and the "lost" planet
jedimaster1141 Posted March 13, 2005 Author Posted March 13, 2005 they said its not a content patch it just fixs bugs
